Rachel is really good at listening to what I want to do with my style and color and then making additional suggestions so that I always walk out after my appointment looking great! I've had so many compliments on my hair and am really happy to have found such a great stylist. I really like to vibe in the salon as well. The colors are calming, and everyone is always friendly. It's a very welcoming environment. I highly recommend Rachel and Sparrow Salon!

Rachel has been cutting and coloring my hair for years, and does an amazing job with my fine hair. She is always focused on giving me the look that I want, and makes great recommendations to make my hair look it's best. My friends always compliment my hair:) Scar has recently worked on my hair as well, and is wonderful! I love the atmosphere at Sparrow Salon, it is warm, welcoming, and will continue to be my go to salon as long as I live in Ann Arbor!

I've been getting my hair cut by Rachel for many years. I like being able to discuss new styles and techniques with her, and very much appreciate her guidance. I have always been happy with the results, and would highly recommend her to others. Good music and great vibes inside as well.

Scar was AMAZING. I came in with a vision and a few inspo pics and she went above and beyond. Leading up to our appointment she made a plan, and upon getting to the salon and sitting down she made sure she fully understood what I wanted, listened to my needs, wants, and my experience with my hair. I’ve been burned in the past with previous stylists not actually taking into account what type of hair I have and how it behaves, I trust Scar and will definitely go back to her over and over again. She explained what she was doing every step of the way, and is genuinely so kind, funny, and talented. 10/10, go see Scar, she cares and is amazing at her craft.

I love Rachel and the space she has created here in downtown Ann Arbor. She’s has been an amazing stylist and facilitator to my hair goals. I always feel relaxed in her chair knowing that she’s using her expertise to give me the look I want (and can reasonably maintain day-to-day). She’s always willing to share her depth of knowledge of products and styling while never make you feel bad or guilty about using products that she doesn’t sell - it’s very refreshing from my past experiences with hairdressers.

This is a great salon in a great location! They are amazing with coloring and curly/wavy hair. I never knew how to work with my hair type and Rachel walked me through the process so I can make my hair look good in between visits to the salon.

Rachel is great! She's one of the few people who understands how to cut my curly/wavy hair. Not only does she do a great job cutting curly hair, she also gives really helpful styling tips.
