Went here for the first time a few weeks ago for a haircut with Dom. I am so so happy with the way the look turned out. Dom was able to take the photos I brought in for inspiration and make the style look right for me. I haven't had good luck with hairdressers in CT but I will definitely be returning here!

Oscillating between barbers due to work/travel demands, my home base is always with the Maestro, Dominique; his talent, expertise, and finite attention to detail is unsurpassed. I frequently travel and oft the case is that my hair must be cut in different locations; that being said, Dom is always my go to (and has been for the past 10+ years) for a precise and clean ✂️ delivered with passion on every visit. If you need a true professional who will never fail to deliver, look no further. I have recommended friends that are aged in their 20’s, to friends enjoying their 80’s, and Dom does not disappoint! Trust that this man will deliver!

I am grateful for Dolores' help. I cold called to book a consultation because my hair was badly damaged. The receptionist booked with Dolores who took the time to examine my hair, gave advice and most importantly told me that my hair cannot handle color right now. I booked a haircut the following day and she very thoughtfully cut it to hide the bad breakage. She gave me recommendations for home treatment said that in a month we can try a color test to see if my hair is healthy enough to dye just to blend my roots. She's calm and very honest and didn't push anything on me. I was scared to have anyone touch my hair, but she was wonderful.

Been going to Moda for years and usually happy enough with my experience. Johnny was unavailable, so booked with Dom for a balayage and cut. Stylist showed up 20 minutes late without apology, even though I was the first & only client that day. My hair was left damaged from over processing - previously had partial highlights once a year ago, never used heat. The placement too was sloppy - my roots looked like a chunky highlight on one side and I got comments from others about it. It is still gummy and dry to this day. I have since left the area, so I don’t have to feel bad about not returning to a salon that I supported for a long time.

Love love! Friendly and professional staff that know their stuff! They all work well and pull together as a team to help each other out. I see Dom the color specialist. He goes over everything and consults with your before he works on you. They have amazing colors and use moisturizing agents that leave your hair super soft and healthy.

Book Dom! Great attention to detail and really listens to what you want from the cut. Handles asian hair very well, which is impossible to find around here.

I arrived on time for my hair cut and proceeded to wait for 1/2 hour. During this time not once did anyone inform me that the hair dresser was running behind or apologize for the wait. Finally I got up and nicely informed the receptionist that unfortunately I was going to have to leave since I was concerned about time as I did not expect to wait 1/2 hour. The only response I got was okay. I try to be understanding, particularly as we navigate COVID, but the fact that not only was the hair dresser late, but no one seemed to care enough to apologize for the wait or even let me know that he was running late in first place really bothered me.
