I had the absolute BEST experience with Taneisha Greene. I went in for "crochet braids" and specifically asked for kinky curly Afro hair with bangs, the hair ofc being provided by me; and when I say she delivered, I mean she DELIVERED. The install was flawless. The hair looked so natural that nobody can tell this isn’t my real hair LOL. The hair was very big at first, and when I asked her to cut it down, she did it immediately, no hesitation, no attitude, just pure professionalism and skill. She really listens and wants you to leave feeling confident and happy. On top of that, she made me feel so comfortable the entire time. She even washed my hair beforehand and was incredibly careful not to mess up my makeup (I had eyeliner and mascara on), which honestly meant a lot to me. That level of care is rare. Not only is she an amazing hairstylist, but she’s also an amazing person. She was on the phone practically the whole time which put me at ease and we made good small talk. The only small hiccup was my appointment being pushed back about two hours, but my little sister regularly goes to her and I can confidently say this is not a normal occurrence and the final result was more than worth it. I will absolutely be back. 5/5 stars but truly a 10/5 in my book. If you’re thinking about booking with Taneisha Greene, do it. You won’t regret it. Wish I knew how to upload photos on here. If she moves out that state of CT, best believe I’m packing my bags.

I recently went to get French curl boho, and she did not disappoint! She listened to my instructions very thoughtfully, making sure there’s volume in my hair and my hair length was shorter. She also made sure my braids were not too thick but not too thin, loved it!

This was the worst experience ever. Very unprofessional and umpleasant. Avoid. First, she changed my appointment without asking if it works for me. I just got a text message saying that my apt was changed to 2 hours earlier. I had already paid a deposit of $120 and asked for a refund since i was not available at the new time. She called me immediately to say she was just letting me know i could come early. Ok. Great. I walked in after booking on a third party site. When I arrived she asked if I had hair. And I was no. I didn't know I was supposed to bring it. Then she huffed a bit and then asked if my daughter's hair was washed. I said no. Mind you none of this was discussed or communicated before the appointment. I explained that I usually pay 300 with hair and wash included. I went to the hall to ask my daughter if she wanted to stay. We did. Came back in and she went on saying that washing was so much work, she has to stand too long, etc. and it was $30 typically for a wash. She also said the price i was quoted on the booking site had nothing to do with her and i had to take it up with them. Like huh???? Why are you posting service on a site and not standing by whats posted. Very weird. Anyway, she agreed to waive it. I was like that works but reiterated that I just didn't know bc wash and hair are usually included where we go. She said "where?" with a horrible attitude. I gave her 3 examples. And she came back with "then why did you book with me?" At that point I just walked out and let her know that was a horrible question. Like what? Who says that. Very strange. Ive never experienced this and would not recommend at all.

Tanya did a wonderful job with my hair. I had Boho braids done she did not braid too tight; Tanya was gentle while braiding my hair which I deeply appreciate because I cannot have tight braids due to my migraines. Tonya is very friendly and a woman of God which was a blessing to have a woman of God doing my hair. I love my braids, they are very neat, and I was in and out within 4 hours. See you soon Tanya!

Tanya’s work is impeccable. Customer service and ambience are outstanding. Finally found a Jamaican stylist that I trust with doing precisely what I ask for and more!

Let me start by saying Tanya was phenomenal!! , don’t be confused when you pull up to the shop it looks like a big blue house on the outside but a full clean shop with multiple hairdresser stations on the inside . When I walked in , Tanya greeted me with a big smile made me feel at home ,welcomed and safe on my first time ever being in a braiding salon . I felt like Tanya was like an aunt I never met so genuine and nice , Tanya not only recommended to take vitamins for healthy strong hair growth , but managed to give me the style of braiding I wanted even with me having short hair , I highly recommend everyone to ask for Tanya when you visit , she has plenty of years of experience under her belt and knows what she is talking about , thank you so much Tanya I will be back soon thanks again

I got boho knotless braids, she braided my hair exactly how I asked, was a friendly and clean environment. I love my hair, she didn’t braid too tight and I was in and out within 4 hours.
