Highly recommend! Gina is an exceptional hairdresser who is detailed and precise with her cuts and styling. I came to Gina for a haircut redo and she fixed it perfectly. She evened out the cuts and added movement and shape that was perfect for my hair texture and length. I loved it so much that I will definitely be a returning customer. Her assistant Carla is lovely as well and together they create a peaceful, welcoming environment.

There's a reason you don't see any negative reviews about Gina...she does not disappoint! She's a keen listener and wants you to leave with that bounce in your step and beautiful, healthy hair. My teenaged daughter and I have been long time fans of Gina from before she moved to her current one-woman shop on King Street. You will feel spoiled having the one on one time with her for your appointment and not having rows of hair stylists and dueling blow dryer noise like a typical salon setting. Gina is so talented and an all-around wonderful human to know and adore!

What can I say?! Gina is truly the best there is! She transformed my hair years ago and has continued to keep it looking amazing! I was never happy with my hair until I found her. Strangers out of nowhere compliment my hair now, it's honestly an amazing feeling and it's all because of the exceptional work she's done! It's also the cutest salon, professional, private and safe with masks on and temperature checks. I feel at ease and comfortable. I love it here!

I went to Gina on a whim after seeing all the good reviews and walked out with the best haircut of my life. My cut was a month ago and I still love it. I have really fine hair that is also sightly frizzy. Gina cut my hair in a way that gives it shape. I can let it air dry or style it. Gina is also so kind and getting your haircut from her just feels like you're hanging out with a friend. Gina is amazing!!

I have been coming here for almost a year for almost 3 or 4 visits and I love how Gina does my hair! She is also a great person and I always leave feeling happy. She is truly a 'hair-therapist' who cares about her clients and their well-being. Also she fulfilled my dream of becoming a blonde without too much damage and not breaking the bank. This little shop is tucked away in the upstairs of a building in the heart of Old Town. Gina is fantastic and really listened to my very specific requests. I felt my shoulder-length straight hair was quite washed out after the last hairdresser made me super-blond (which I definitely did not ask for). Gina gave me perfect high and low lights and covered all the grey. The color is multi-dimensional and beautiful. She also gave me the chunky layers I asked for. I came away feeling I was really listened to and my hair looked beautiful. Gina is very laid back and easy to talk to, so the whole experience was really perfect and I'm looking forward to my next visit! Huge bonus that she's in a great Old Town location so I can do some shopping or grab some lunch before or after. I highly recommend Gina at Alexandria Hair Lounge.

I went to Gina today for the first time and it will definitely not be the last!!! I went in with hair that had grown out and was very damaged and I wanted to get it all cut off into a shorter style and she did an AMAZING job!!!! The color was exactly what I wanted and the cut is the best short cut I have ever had!!! It instantly lifted my mood and made me feel like myself again. I would highly recommend Gina!!! She’s super sweet and very professional and took time to get to know me and what I wanted. She’s the best!!!!
