Mr K's Used Books, Music and More

A rare-find great place to completely immerse yourself and enjoy the reading. Their trading system is fair and I'm able to get a lot of value out of it. In a world that less and less people are reading paper books, this feels like a fresh air to me. Absolutely love it!

Good things: plenty and variety. Random and rare things. Usually very nice employees. Bad things: prices are higher than items from distributors. For example: some of the Arrow films or Criterion are more or equal to the price of buying them online from the source. There doesn’t seem to be any logic to this as some rare oop films are cheaper than market price… and some common still in print films are more expensive than retailers or online. The experience I had that will probably keep me from returning: I brought in a book that sells (not just listed but actually sells) for ~$220 regularly. It’s somewhat rare and in demand. I thought I could at least get $100 store credit for it. They offered me $40 in store credit. No thank you. I will be spending my money elsewhere from now on. But never 2ndandcharles.

Always a fun nook for browsing. Prices are reasonable. They have current best sellers and your old favorites. Comics gallore. CD by the scores. Vinyls. Collectables. Kids. Something for everyone.

They give fair prices for used books in good condition sold to them by the public. Great prices on new and used books and DVD’s for resale. Most books are in very good condition

My experience today surpassed my expectations. The staff here impressed me as both professional and kind. As such, I highly recommend Mr. K's Used Books, Music and more and will make this my one stop shop from now on for selling and purchasing used books. Thank you all for a great experience!

Quick helpful kind. They apparently do not want biblical/religious books. So if you are thinking they will buy even high quality biblical books they are not interested. Apparently they will buy wicka and that genera books. They are all over the store.

I come here regularly with my grandchildren. They always find something to buy whether it’s what they went in to look for it or It is not only a great success most of the time, but a study in friendly interaction. Not only is the staff willing to come out and help with your inquiries, but customers routinely stop what they’re doing when they hear the conversations and volunteer their help and observations. When I have a specific need for something for myself or for these children, I often call ahead and they are glad to go and search. Love this place and highly recommend it. Dottie Schipper
