Mall of Abilene

Great mall! Tons of different stores. Staff were kind, atmosphere was nice, stores were pretty clean. Saw tons of Star Wars, Lord of the Rings things spread out. (Y'know, nerdy stuff) Books a Million was great. Overall, great mall. 10/10 would recommend!!

This is a very nice mall with more than enough stores/businesses to patronize. It’s kept up well and clean. There’s plenty of seating available and quite a few places to eat. I believe it’s just one story. Very nice atmosphere. There’s even a hospital located inside. It’s Hendricks. If you ever feel like going for a walk in a cool facility, this is the place. You can just walk around, visit stores, & look. You don’t have to buy. I think it’s really unique & cool that they have a public library in the mall. It may be the only one in town. It also has a hand full of large comfortable leisure vibrating message chairs that you can pay to use for 10-30 mins at a time. I have not visited all stores in the mall yet, but someday I intend on doing a full tour of the Abilene mall to visit all stores. Maybe not in a day, but 3-4 days overtime just to open myself up to more options that may interest me. What’s really cool is that they have a few nail spas inside. I’ve only been to one of them particularly for a pedicure and it was a pretty nice customer friendly relaxing experience. Nothing really stood about this particular pedicure experience at the mall to draw me back for another experience. I do my own gel polish, mani/pedis & take care of my own nails now. It’s way less expensive when you just do it yourself. It just feels good being inside this mall. It’s well ventilated and it’s only one story. Love, Light,Peace,Blessings,Community,care

I was surprised by how many stores they have in this mall. For not being a massive city, there's a lot of good shopping here. They have a lot of food choices and sit down restaurants inside. I liked going here, and found some great gifts.

We are new in town. This mall is surprisingly still very active. Most stores are occupied, very few vacancies compared to many malls these days. And they seem eager to fill those vacancies. Also, I think it's a great idea having the library in the mall. Clean and nice atmosphere with a good amount of people shopping. We loved the variety of stores, we especially loved Earthbound. We came in 2 days in a row and spent money in several stores on both days. We'll be shopping here often.

Very family friendly. Surprisingly has a great collection of retailers which also include small businesses. Not a lot of variety when it comes to food but the options outside the mall make up for it.

The owner of the mall is terrible. He won't let the stores control their AC so most of the mall is a temperature that is uncomfortable. There have been instances with animals getting inside and rather than calling animal control the owner locked the mall and turned the AC off. We live in Texas and this was summer, so he basically turned the mall into an oven and killed the animals inside of the mall by overheating them and essentially cooking them alive. It has happened multiple times with one instance being baby bats which volunteers even asked to retrieve to which the owner told them no.

Not a bad place to go and waste some time... I'm surprised at how active it is honestly. Many malls across the country are dying but it seems like our mall is slowly turning into more of a place to go hang out.
