LA Mart International Food

La Mart is a great store with a very convenient location. They always have high-quality products, especially vegetables, fruits, and fresh seafood. The store is clean and the parking lot is large, which makes shopping easier. However, the only problem I face every time I visit is the behavior of the cashiers. Their attitude is often cold, and the checkout process is very slow. This morning I had a very unpleasant experience — the cashier treated me as if I was asking for free products, which was disrespectful and unnecessary. Customers expect polite and professional service. I hope the management pays serious attention to this issue, because with this kind of behavior, I don’t think people will want to come back. Even with great products, customer service is an important part of the shopping experience.

Mega International Grocery store. Many hard to find items. Vast types of rice. Many African Staple Foods for making soups. Extensive meat, fish, and seafood... even rabbit, lamb, goat meats. Likely, whatever your cooking needs, they have it. Friendly staff. I've visited several times now. My new go-to for food shopping needs. Reasonable prices.

My son took me there once, and I LOST MY MIND! It's my favorite place to buy my meats and seafood short of going to a butcher. They stock certain items I cannot purchase or find anywhere else. I have mever experiençed an issue with staff being rude or unsupportive, even when there's a language barrier. I am hearing challenged, and there is always an issue in communication with othere who are unaware of this in me, or those who don't care enough to understand this is an unseen disability. The selection of all the items they stock are in the quantity I prefer, at a price that's affordable. I have taken others, both family and friends who share my passion for culinary expertise. Some of my out-of-town friends and family often ask me for items not available in their area when I'm heading their way!🤩😃❤️

Halal certifications are all expired, I shared it with cashiers but it’s been couple of weeks still seeing old certificates. I have doubt that they just have these certificates mentioning it Halal. So this message is to all those halal eaters, plz be careful.

There is a huge variety of products from all over the world. As a foreigner it is good to find products that we normally see in our shops back home. The products are mostly from asia so you should see a huge variety of spices and sauces. Personally, my favorite is the veggie section which has a huge variety of fresh vegetables and farm produce to choose from. I definitely recommend this supermarket to foreigners especially from the asian region.

I usually like shopping at LA Mart, but not this time. Not only did I find several packs of smoked pork loin have turned green (the photo doesn't show how green it is next to a healthy loin), but one of the meat section employees was walking around while his pants and underwear were hanging below his buttocks. It's one thing that he was essentially mooning any customers and other employees wherever he walked through the store, but this was creating another level of unsanitary conditions in there. Made sure to inform the managers on shift as I left.

Interesting store, they sell goat and scotch bonet peppers though. 2 thumbs up and their fish selection looks fresh.
