Lee's Market

I almost forgot to write a review. I went to this place around noon on 12/16/2025. There was an older Asian lady at the counter. I greeted her when entering the store and I asked what kind of Red Bulls were available. I ended buying a cookie, some pretzels and an orange juice. When I got to the counter to pay she rung my things up. After I paid she just left my things on the counter. When I asked for a bag she pulled out one and sat it by the register and walked off. Mind you she had some type of plastic barrier on the counter so I had to reach my the register to grab the bag and bag my own items. I do not know if this is the norm regarding her customer service but it is definitely unacceptable being that you need people to purchase items from that establishment to keep business afloat. I will never spend my money at this establishment ever again. I will not make her out to be a racist, but I will say the customer service is horrible.

I live around the corner and I love it. Always great in a pinch with some unique selections of brands not found in your local 7-Eleven. They can't give you bulk discounts on some items, but the owners are always attentive and very kind. It's a trade off I'm willing to make. They make great deli sandwiches and (if I drank) a wide variety of wines available to their customers. It's great...shop local!

I've lived in Old Town for 22 years and been a Lee's Market customer all that time. I would classify Lee's Market as falling in between a full grocery store and a corner store. It is owned by a lovely Korean brother and sister who never fail to greet me with a smile, chat for a while and occasionally even have little gifts to offer me. Lee's Market is always spotless-clean and is quite bigger than your average corner store. It offers a surprisingly wide selection of wines (including port, sherry and other fortified varieties) beers, soft drinks, juices, cheeses, bacon, eggs, frozen food, breads and snacks. They also carry pasta, sauces, canned soups, some produce and fruit, coffee beans, oil and condiments, spices and a wide variety of ice-creams. As far as non-food items, they have a good array of household necessities from basic over-the-counter medicines to tissue paper, soaps, cleaners, batteries, and, as a non-smoker, what seems to be a good selection of tobacco products. Have pets? Lee's market carries food for both dogs and cats. Want to gift that wine you just bought? They carry a huge selection of cards and gift-bags. During the non-COVID days, they also have a deli counter with bagels, muffins, deli meat and cheeses--and they make fantastic sandwiches. Prices are mostly in line with chain stores like Harris Teeter. As of this writing, a soda is about $2, a 500 ml TetraPack of wine about $5. If there is ever a small difference between Lee's prices and higher-level chain grocery stores', it is due mostly to the latter having items occasionally on sale. In any case, I much prefer supporting a local, friendy family-owned store than a faceless chain with automated check-out counters. Lee's Market will continue being (by far) my grocery store of choice.

This market has a little bit of everything! They have a selection of dry goods, lots of wine and beer and even some fresh produce and dairy. Super convenient and lovely run family business.

Cute convenient store. Kind owners but a little pricey.

Lee's Market. A convenience corner market store that is so overpriced that you practically need to be a multimillionaire to afford anything in there.
