Ai Mart

Nice little store. There is Sushi, Onigiri, and hot noodle bowls for food. Hand scooped Ice cream if you want something sweet. All kinds of groceries for your needs.

Ai Mart is a newer Asian grocery store located in the heart of NYC Chinatown. They sell a lot of Asian grocery items here, as well as home goods and other products all at reasonable prices. In addition to this, they also sell food here, such as Onigiri, hot foods, and ice cream. The ice cream has unique flavors such as durian and lychee, and it looks good and isn't too sweet.

New store. Decent selection. Lots of candy and snacks. Welcome to the neighborhood!

This has to be the best market I have been to in new york. Has everything you need. Ramen, onigiri, drinks, and ice cream. It even has their own boiling water dispenser and ramen cooker! Definitely recommend!

Yummy snacks and decent selection of ramen. There was a really cute cashier there. I was eating black sesame soft serve and I saw that there was ice cream at the market. I went back to that market like 5 mins later to ask if there was a bathroom but I kinda just wanted to see that guy again. Weird ice cream flavor names, but decent.

Very disappointing experience. I specifically asked if I could buy instant noodles, prepare them here with hot water, and take them to go, since my hotel doesn’t have a kettle. The cashier said "of course" and sold me a bowl for $1. Only after I paid, I was told that there is no lid provided and that I’m supposed to pour boiling water right there and walk through crowded Manhattan streets carrying an open bowl of hot soup.

Good selection of drinks, ready to eat meals(can microwave inside the store after buying), rice balls are plenty and discounted after 6pm. Great place for a quick lunch or snack shopping. edit: Owners I need you guys to make more riceballs/onigiri because I used to be able to get one or two after work but now I can't even get one. ( ; ω ; ) Have mercy on this poor soul.
