Bangla Nagar Supermarket

I went to church & Macdonald ave for something else & I saw all those Bangladeshi places! And I had to buy some paan for my mom & got some vegetables! I was there only for 10 min, so didn't get a chance to see everything. It's a Bangladeshi grocery store so I know what they have actually. The vegetables looked fresh enough, the service was great. The lady cashier was super nice & helpful. I also see the sign that they take orders for Qurbani, so just letting others know. It could be much more cleaner & organized! Took some pictures just to show how the store looks .

This place is the absolute worst . The cashier don’t even know how to talk with customer nicely .I bought 2 gallons of milk today but he gave me in the same plastic bag. I ask him to gave me separate or double the bag but he said he can’t. Please stay away from this place.

This is where I do my grocery shopping. Don’t go to any other groceries around the neighborhood, so can’t compare with others. What I can share from my experience is people here are extremely hospitable and friendly.

Terrible service and they sell expired/gone bad products (i.e expired rice)

It was one of the best grocery store but that was very long ago. Now they rip you off and won't even apologize for it. I went to go buy some groceries that should've amounted to 30 dollars and they charged 60 dollars. They charged cookies that were 1.25 to 10 dollars. At first I was confused at why the price was so high and I explicitly told them to double check. The lady counted each grocery so I trusted that. As i was in the car I looked at the receipt and saw the mistake. I went back and told them. Now here's the problem. She said it was a mistake and I said 1. you double checked and 2. it sounds more like rip off than a mistake cuz a mistake would look more like 12.5 dollars. If they actually admitted their mistake and genuinely apologized I would've been ok with it and left. Not only did she not apologize, she said there was no reason to apologize and started ranting at us.

Sells spoiled milk and then refuses to change it. The milk didn’t even had expiry date on it. The owner doesn’t know how to respect customers. He thinks it’s Bangladesh and he can get away with selling spoiled/expired products.

Always a bit crowded but for a good reason! This is one of my go to store for grocery shopping. They also have a variety of fish to chose from and its pretty fresh as well. I will recommend this place.
