Nanabi

I could not believe I haven’t written a review for Nanabi, one of my all time favorite places. I could literally write a novel about all of the things I love about this restaurant so I will be brief and say that the owner, the staff, the service and, most importantly, the quality and flavor food are out of this world. Everything on the menu is at the level of a fine dining restaurant. Our favorite items on the menu are the krispy chicken buns, crab rangoons, and most recently, I tried the ramen, which was absolutely incredible. The pork belly is marinated for several days and is perfectly crispy on the outside and melt in your mouth tender, especially in the ramen. Thank you for all of the great meals!

The crispy chicken bao buns were absolutely unreal—perfectly crunchy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and packed with so much flavor in every bite. Each bao was soft and pillowy, making the crunch of the chicken even more satisfying. And don’t even get me started on the sweet potato fries… hands down the best I’ve ever had—crispy, perfectly seasoned, and totally addictive. I was genuinely so happy eating this meal and honestly wanted more the second I finished. Can’t wait to come back for another round!

I looked up places that deliver while I was working on Monday. I was lucky enough to find Nanabi! I ordered the pork belly bento box and was very surprised the portion size was so large! I really enjoyed the flavor of the garlic rice and sweet potatoes. The pork belly was tender and delicious!

Absolutely incredible! The folks working here are so kind and take great care in the food they put out. We've tried many items off of the menu and everything is good. The bento boxes are large portions with lots of options to try. The sauces are all so good. They have the best bubble teas in the area, by far. We drive out of our way specifically to come here.

The pork katsu and gyudon were delicious! Really hit the spot and the portions were generous. Great little lunch spot and next time I’m in Utica I’d love to try their other food!

The fried chicken was good consistency and texture. The gochujang sauce was ok. The tonkatsu was a bit overcooked, and curry was weak in flavor. This meal was more like 4 stars, but I have been here before, and their crispy fried chicken bao was great. I will be back to try more.

Ordered the Tofu Katsu Bowl with garlic fried rice, peppers and onions, sweet potato and edamame. The serving size is enough for two and the food was presented masterfully. Every component was cooked perfect and every mouthful was delicious. Highly recommended. I marked down the atmosphere because there was only one other customer but you can sit and rest with friends and make your own!
