YunGaNe Korean Restaurant

The place looks unassuming but the food is actually very good. I'm surprised that they even have citron honey tea here for just $2.5.

I have been craving Korean food for weeks. We went to YunGaNe in Bellingham for the first time. We were extremely pleased with every aspect of this fantastic restaurant! Yun is wonderful and we will return soon!

An awesome little hole-in-the-wall place and very authentic. We got the bibimbap in the sizzling stone bowl with sides of kimchi, cucumbers, fish cakes, etc. The food was amazing—some of the best food I’ve had in Bellingham, period. And the service was great. Highly recommend checking it out, they should be more popular than they are.

I visited to my friend from Los Angeles. Last day he invite me this Restaurant. First time I didn't expect this much good restaurant in small town 😆. We ordered spicy pork and beef dishes and soon dubu soup... All of them so delicious like LA big korean restaurant. Thank you very much kind Owner and coworker!

We had a lovely birthday dinner at YunGaNe Korean restaurant. We shared the jalapeno poppers, mixed sondubu, and beef bimbimbap, as well as a tasty sake cocktail. The flavors were outstanding! We loved the amount of heat in the dishes and the variety of textures. One of the best restaurants in Bellingham, with a relaxing and cozy atmosphere - we will definitely be back.

We don’t live in Bellingham but stayed again at the Leo Hotel, next door to YunGaNe Restaurant. We returned last night, looking forward to a repeat of last year’s great experience. We ordered Soondubu Seafood with Vegetables and Stonepot Bulgogi Bibimbap with Beef. The Bibimbap was delicious. But the Soondubu had far too much chilli: it was actually inedible (and normally I really love hot food & hot sauce.) The odd thing? The menu had "fire" 🔥 emojis for the 3 other Soondubu choices, but not the Seafood Soondubu. I chose that one because my girlfriend cannot eat hot and spicy food There was a lot of soft tofu in the dish, but hardly any seafood. We told the waitress something was seriously amiss, but no attempt was made to redo the dish or remove it from the bill. After that, it seemed that we were being hurried out of the restaurant even though we still had half a pitcher of beer and it wasn’t that busy. Last Year’s Review: We came in early, for our first visit. Our server recommended Bulgogi Ribeye Beef and Chicken Bibimbap loaded with perfectly-seasoned, beautifully-flavoured shiitake mushrooms. Dinner came with a quartet of Korean condiments like Kim Chi, on the side.

A wonderful place! Food is authentic, delicious, and has a wide array of options, along with some unique desserts and a wide range of Korean alcohols (along with some local beverages on tap) and non-alcoholic drinks.
