The staff here are rude. I was treated very curtly by the woman patrolling the self checkout area —first of all they guard the bags here like it’s some kind of treasure or something. It leaves a bad taste in your mouth like is this some kind of a dangerous place or something and no other place really does it like they do —amazing —I was with my baby in the cart and she had the bags way over on the other side and I asked for one and she didn’t volunteer to give me one. I had to walk all the way over and leave my baby unguarded and my stuff and get the bags from her. Very tacky. Then I asked her for help to use a gift card for Vons and she was very curt and sarcastic and wouldn’t give me real help. Terrible service. I hope you improve, but for the meantime, there are many other stores that are better than Vons in general and this Vons in particular —prices aren’t great either. There are better places. By the way this was not the first time I had sub par service here. Badly managed, badly run. They do however have a good supply and variety of different grocery items —just rude staff.

The only place I would shop when in Pasadena. Not only does Vons have so many coupons on already cheap prices, especially if you get their app - you can clip sm!!! But they have everythinggg you could ever need. And a lot of options! I'm super picky. Hard to find things you may not be able to find anywhere else is likely here. One stop shop. Spent a lot of time in California, but recently was there for 2 weeks and must have saved over $30 on our entire grocery order just from the app! Even though it was relatively busyyy it wasn't too packed, there wasn't long lines no more than 1 shopper waiting in checkouts. Again, Ideal, Cheap & Convenient. Clean. Which I like!

This Vons is one of the best grocery stores around. The prices seem fair and the service that I've received has always been friendly. If I have a hard time finding an item, I've been able to find a staff member to help me find it. They have a wide selection of choices on most of their products. I enjoy walking through all the fresh fruits and vegetables that are on display. If you want organic they have it! I like their large fresh deli section which includes a sushi bar. The aromas from the deli will definitely make you hungry! They have a large selection of fresh made salads and soups of every combination imaginable …very convenient. They have a great wine, beer, and liquor area. Most aisles are wide enough for two carts With the great selection of regular grocery items, there is a butcher available, as well as a fresh seafood area. The flower shop has fresh cut flowers and potted plants. There is a Starbucks near the front entrance. Elevators are available to the parking lot upstairs. There is ground level parking, which can be very crowded at times. Fast checkout with self-service machines. You can also check out through a regular line. I really enjoy shopping at this excellent Vons store, located on the corner of Sierra Madre Boulevard and Colorado Boulevard.

Visiting a couple of days before Christmas was nutso so my review was not so good for this normally fine Vons outlet. At the time I said I'll review again when things are not so crazy and since the craziness has evaporated, here's the updated review: FIVE STARS. My visit this time was like I was transported to another planet, with the shelves nice and full and the team on-site helpful in the extreme. My sole point of disappointment was that despite the store's website saying they had barramundi (the planet's tastiest fish) none was to be had. Please fix that Vonspeople!

This is a well maintained store, very clean and fresh. The deli has good quality food, liked the quality of sushi rolls here. There's also a Starbucks inside the store. The vegetables and fruits are kept fresh and are well priced. There's also a pharmacy inside the store as well. If you aren't a Safeway club member, become one for free so you can get the Safeway club discounts.

Your typical Vons. They have two level parking available for free. Take the elevator directly into the store from the parking lot. Neat and clean.

The customer service is really terrible. We just tried to purchase an item because it was on the clearance table. It rang up at full price so we asked at attendant. It took several minutes to get help, and then she went back and forth checking it and stated that the item was not on sale it was in the wrong place. I had a picture of the item with many other of the same under a clearance sign but she insisted it was full price. This whole thing could have been resolved so much quicker and with less frustration.
