I am not a person to make reviews but I was very upset leaving and still am. I found this place on Google and they had availability which other places didn’t on the holiday which should have been my first clue. Well I got an older lady. Her name was Diarlis, she was not only rushed, she left my have wet at the roots, she changed the price on me without telling me and she was bad mouthing the salon to someone while she was on the phone amd doing my hair. So many bad things at once. I over paid, hair came out bad, treated bad and will never go back. So many better options in a 5 mile radius don’t settle. They have availability because of a reason .

A beautiful, friendly and professional salon. I highly recommend this salon to anyone looking for a friendly and professional hair experience. I got my hair cut and washed by Darielis and Im absolutely obsessed😆 I'll definitely be coming back!

Joel is very kind and professional. If you are looking for a great haircut, color or highlights, he is the one for you. He has been my hairdresser for 5 years, and was my Mom's for 15 years, and I will follow him anywhere. Although Joel is booked for months in advance, he will always do his best to fit you into his schedule and he does! Not 100% happy with a haircut or treatment, he welcomes you back to fix it and makes sure you leave with a smile on your face. His assistant Meyla is amazing as well. Great team work! The salon is very clean and everyone is very nice and professional. The Cuban coffee is not so bad either... Matty S.

My sons and I get our haircuts with Joel. His attention to detail and patience is amazing. You never feel rushed when sitting at his chair. His assistant Meyla is wonderful and handles all appointments directly with the client. They are an efficient team. On the days I can't get into see him, Nilda does an amazing job at blow drying my hair. Overall, the salon is clean and all of the staff is friendly and welcoming. A must try!!

I was referred to Luisa at Up on Sunset more than a 15 years ago. I was so happy after my first appointment I've been loyal ever since. She is the best manicurist I've gone to. Luisa is one of the few who takes pride in her work, always on time, detailed oriented and a pleasure to talk to. She uses the best products, and gives the best mini, foot scrub massages when I get a pedicure. She is typically in high demand, so book your next appointment with her early. You won't be disappointed.

I definitely recommend this place! Joel did a beautiful job. He suggested something better for my hair type better than what I wanted. I have fine hair and the cut and color came out great!!!

Have been coming to Up on Sunset for over 20 years!!!! My manicurist Luisa is beyond the best. great service and great quality for both manicure and pedicures. She is as particular as i am for cleanliness and ensuring nails not only look good but are healthy!!!!!
