Sandra in the Registrar office, had an attitude when I called to ask a simple question about my transfer credit report. I’m a newly admitted transfer student for the Spring 2026 semester, and currently undergoing my transfer process. I’m expecting this to be a smooth process, especially since they are an HONORS University lol. I didn’t appreciate her tone and passive aggressive responses, to me simply seeking assistance. Poor professionalism on her part.

Great Social Work program. Requiring a minor to graduate is BS. All gender restrooms 👎🏾 The amount of sexual assault & attempted car theft alerts I received while attending is insane. Definitely sign up for email/text alerts.

Very nice campus, decently large and takes some walking, plenty of resources for students and programs galore. Not directly in the city. Nice environment.

We were there for move-in day. Mad props to UMBC for a well-organized, low-stress move-in. EVERYONE was friendly and helpful!

Probably the best university of Maryland.....much better than UMD 🧑🏼‍🎓
