This morning, I visited Ulta for a salon appointment that my grandmother gifted. She kindly allowed me to use her Ulta credit card to pay for my service. During checkout, the cashier (Rajneesha) asked if I wanted to sign up for the Ulta card. I declined, and she noticed I was using one and commented that it was "weird." I explained that I was just using it today. She then told me that using someone else’s card could be marked as fraud. This was extremely embarrassing and uncomfortable, especially since my grandmother had explicitly allowed me to use her card, and I was not using any points. I’m not a confrontational person, so I didn’t go into further detail at the register, but the comment felt accusatory and inappropriate to make in front of other customers. My mother was present and overheard the exchange, which made the situation even more uncomfortable. I understand the importance of protecting customers from fraud, and if I had been attempting to use someone else’s Ulta Rewards points, I would understand the need for clarification. However, that was not the situation. I was simply using my grandmother’s credit card with her full permission to pay for my salon service. My mom later contacted the store and spoke with April, the manager, about what happened. While I appreciate that it was addressed, the interaction itself left me feeling unsettled and took away from what had already been an emotional week. I hope this feedback helps ensure future conversations around policy are handled with more discretion and care.

I had the absolute best experience with Mylah at Ulta Beauty on Brodie Lane. I went in for a blowout, and even though it’s often considered a basic service, Mylah treated it with the same care and precision as a full color or cut. She was attentive, asked thoughtful questions, and made sure every section was perfectly styled for smoothness, volume, and movement. I left feeling polished, confident, and genuinely impressed. <3

I had such an amazing experience at this Ulta, I felt compelled to leave a review. I had placed an online Black Friday pickup order for my favorite Milk Primer (I ordered three to stock up and gift), and unfortunately my order was canceled because the item went out of stock. I was really disappointed because it was such a great deal. Louis stepped in and completely turned the situation around. He was incredibly kind, patient, and understanding when I explained how upset I was. He went above and beyond to help find a solution, and the way he handled everything truly exceeded my expectations. It’s rare to find customer service like that these days. Huge thank you to Louis and the team here for making me feel valued as a customer. I’ll absolutely continue shopping at this location and recommending it to others.

Stopped in today for a quick restock emergency and unfortunately it was out on the shelves. I NEEDED it for tonight (Valentine’s Day) so I was devastated. I was walking around grabbing a few other things an employee asked me if I was doing ok. I asked Dasia (I hope I spelled that correctly) if she by chance could help me find something and she was so sweet and even went as far as checking in the back for me. She actually found it and saved my night. Huge shout out to her for being a life saver and so kind. and I forgot to tell her, her makeup was gorgeous !

I was looking for foundation makeup. When I went into Ulta I was overwhelmed. Brandon walked up and asked if I needed help. Brandon is Amazing!! He showed me the best products and matched them to my skin tone. I bought 2 different products and love them both. They make my skin look so good 👍 . I used to love Ulta for the great deals and friendly service. At this point I’d rather spend my money anywhere else without a discount. Every time I go in to pick up an online order, I am ignored, every time, even if multiple employees are standing around the area. Often act like I’m not right in front of them without acknowledging something like be with you in a moment.

Kelly S is the best! 😍 my hair is really thick and straight and for some reason I always leave with really unblended layers even from senior and experienced stylists at fancy salons. Came on a whim and let Kelly know this tends to happen. She did such a great job that my hair has so much volume and blended layers that always dry perfectly with really low maintenance. Kelly S even stayed late on her birthday to style my hair! 🥹😇
