I booked an 11:00 AM makeup appointment at this Ulta for my baby shower—an important day where I genuinely needed things to go smoothly. I arrived about 10 minutes early, checked in, and was told my makeup artist would be right out. After waiting for about 15 minutes with no update, I finally had to flag someone down to ask if my artist was running late. Several minutes later, I was told that my makeup artist, Jacqueline, was actually running 20 minutes behind because she was still with the client before me. No one had planned to notify me. That meant my 11:00 AM appointment wouldn’t even start until around 11:45 AM, which would have thrown off the rest of my schedule before my shower. Realizing I now had no makeup artist and almost no time left, I was brought to tears standing in the store—and still, no one showed empathy, offered an alternative stylist, or even apologized. I ended up grabbing mascara so I could do my own makeup after wasting almost an hour between driving and waiting. Jacqueline never came out, and the only person who showed any kindness was the cashier who checked me out and apologized on behalf of the store. This entire experience was deeply upsetting, unprofessional, and completely avoidable. If you have an important event, do not trust this location. Their lack of communication, empathy, and basic professionalism is unacceptable. I will never book an appointment here again.

Thank you to Elite hair stylist Amanda who did a full color correction and full highlights on my hair today from a nightmare experience I had a a smaller hair studio in Murrieta who turned my hair green! Now - 1000% Improvement and it looks absolutely beautiful. I couldn't be happier. The customer service rep Sophia who checked me out at the register was so nice, happy and extremely helpful. I've been back twice now and she's helping me at the register both times exceeded my expectations for excellent customer service! Keep up the great job! 🥰

I came in hoping to exchange a Tiffany perfume that I had been unable to find at other locations for weeks. Thankfully, Jade went out of her way to check the store’s inventory and was able to find it for me, even though it showed as unavailable online. I truly appreciate her excellent customer service. Good customer care seems rare these days, so it was refreshing to meet someone who genuinely took the time to help and double-check for a customer. Unfortunately, my checkout experience was the opposite. Jeni came across with a very high-ego attitude and made several disrespectful facial expressions towards me, which felt unprofessional and childish. I definitely did not appreciate being checked out by her. That said, thanks to Jade, I was able to get what I came for and ultimately left feeling content.

A great place. It's a place of beauty from all sides. I'll break that down, make up, skin care, fragrance, full salon with many services, and more. I would recommend this place to anyone. The best part of this business is the employees. They are friendly, knowledgeable, and professional.

I’ve done it before with a different stylist and got the results I wanted. The stylist I went to recently gave me a different blonde than I asked for and said I’d have to come in for more treatments to get the results I was looking for. I would understand if I hadn’t already done the EXACT same thing with a different stylist and got the results instantly. (Not to mention, before my stylist would style my hair after a color or cut but this time around she blow dried my hair and left it). When I asked for a refund they said they would give me a deep conditioning but why would I want to go back in to someone who messed up my hair? No thanks.

Gretchen Phelps did such an amazing job giving my hair a much needed refresh! I'm in love with the color and cut! She always does such great work! Her attention to detail and ability to bring my vision to reality is unsurpassed! Highly recommend booking with her!
