Came excited happy. I LOVE LOVE Makeup! It's my birthday! I just got my hair done today! My family gave me tons of makeup gift cards. I smiled said hi to people several times. 30 mins into patiently waiting for someone to notice me, I realized I was being ignored. Why is there something wrong? I have a list of things to buy. I need to know where they are. I heard a few greatings to people in the store. I asked for help nothing. I walked up and down every isle searching for someone nothing, no one would acknowledge me. Then I started to ask for help... Finally I started recording. It was really bad. I wasted 1 hour and 19 mins total. Happy Birthday. Was treated like crap, ignored... I came in a good mood, Really excited. I even told the last store register person I was at I was excited for the next store for Makeup! I walked happily over! Wth kind of treatment was this! Absolutely unbelievable! I have never ever been treated so badly. The final video was after my boyfriend came in. I broke down. And I just started crying in the car. He went inside for me. And I had to clean up. I just can not believe I was treated that way. I didn't record for over 30 mins. (I deleted the longer 2 videos. Part of live has me asking people for help. Them making eye contact. Then about 30 mins after the initial live I'm starting to tear up. I put the video of me asking after a long while. But I broke down at the end, & just deleted the rest of the video. I still have proof of people literally ignoring me in the initial attempt to get help. I didn't come in a bad way. I don't know why this had to happen. There were a lot of workers cluttered together on the side.)

Ana was so helpful and extremely nice. Made my experience much better than I had previously..I came in for perfume and she helped me pick one out from the whole variety she showed me. Great customer service Thank You Ana !

I stopped in to Ulta Beauty in the Hastings Ranch, Pasadena today. One of the makeup professionals greeted me warmly and helped me find a product I was interested in. She also introduced me to additional products. She applied the makeup, and I was very happy with the service she provided.

Big hairy mole on her eyebrow lady (manager) gave me a very disappointing experience. From the start, she was unhelpful and seemed unwilling to assist me with my questions. When I explained what I needed, she responded with obvious answers that I had already considered, which felt dismissive. Her sarcastic and short responses made me feel disrespected and uncomfortable. The lack of willingness to help and the overall disrespectful attitude of the supervisor has made me reconsider returning to this Ulta location. I believe that supervisors should be setting a standard of excellent customer service, and unfortunately, this was not the case during my visit. I hope that Ulta addresses this issue and provides additional training to ensure that all customers are treated with the respect and assistance they deserve. As a loyal Ulta customer, I expect a higher level of service, and this experience fell far short of my expectations.

I couldn’t not leave a review on the absolutely amazing women they have working this store! I went in with some adult skin issues and this beautiful kind woman who’s real name I can’t remember because we made a joke and were laughing so hard it made me forget helped with my skin care issues and she was a licensed aesthetician! I have almost always been a Sephora girl. This experience changed my perspective. Genuinely the people who work at this store know skin care and want to help you with your issues. The products recommended to me immediately improved my skin within 2 days. Definitely make your way to this Ulta for any of your needs!

The shining star of Ulta Pasadena is Sonia. Full stop. 🌟 She is an absolute superstar. I came to Sonia after a color situation that could have gone very wrong. She took one look, immediately understood exactly what had happened, and explained it in a way that was clear, calm, and completely judgment-free. No panic, no blame — just pure expertise. She knows her stuff. Sonia didn’t just "fix" my color — she worked magic. She’s an expert at blending, preserving the lighter work she’d done previously, and making smart, subtle adjustments that showed real mastery of her craft. The tone was corrected without compromising the health of my hair, which honestly felt like a miracle. What stood out most was how much she genuinely cares. The attention to detail, the patience, the precision — all of it. I walked out with hair that looked healthier, more dimensional, and completely me again. I’ve known Sonia for years, and this is exactly why I trust her completely. If you want a stylist who combines technical expertise, artistry, and real respect for your hair, Sonia is the one. I wouldn’t go anywhere else. Highly, highly recommend. 💛✨

I will not be returning to this Ulta location. Renee (cashier with dark curly hair) lacks awareness, basic customer service skills, and cannot perform the bare minimum of her role. Every time I come to this location, there is always a line and it is not because it is busy, it is because she is the only cashier available and she is either talking to her co-worker (or customer) for too long or experiencing difficulties checking out a customer. The other day, I waited 15 minutes (first in line) because she was catching up with a friend and earlier this month, I wanted to exchange an item and she was unable to process correctly the first couple of times because she was not listening to a word I was saying. I will continue to shop at Ulta, just not this location because it is stressful and unpleasant, which is the opposite of what shopping for makeup should be.
