Extremely rude, unprofessional and staff is unknowledgeable. Upon making my appointment I explained to the receptionist exactly what I needed. I gave her my insurance over the phone and she said it was covered. When I got to my office visit three months later I was told it was not covered and the doctor couldn’t even step in the room without charging me an office visit. The Dr. then directed me to go to a nurse aesthetician across the street who could do the same procedure for half the price. I told her why didn’t the receptionist tell me this information when I first called months ago… and she said that was not their job and they are NOT knowledgeable about the billing…. She then also was asking how I got on her schedule because she’s fully booked which my reply was you were the first opening and the receptionist scheduled it and she went ahead and said I don’t know how because I am booked- I told her that was not my problem and that I’m here now! It was very off-putting… I went ahead because I didn’t want to wait three more months for someone else and did the procedure. Once I got to the cashier I was not even greeted but approached with a smirk and a sour face. She did not thank me for my hardworking $150 and she just handed me my receipt! I will never go here again nor would I recommend this office, there’s many more dermatologist in the Kansas City area who will be professional, kind and efficient and be grateful for a new client!

Dr. Prossick is very kind & very thorough in her examination of your skin. She is also a good listener. I thank her for identifying a melanoma & basal cell cancer on my husband. We caught it early & he is fine after having Mohs surgery to remove it!!

Dr.Prossick is kind and determined to get to the cause and cure for dermatology issues. She is simply the best. As a former nurse I find her knowledgeable and refreshing as a partner in my health care and my daughters.

I went to see Dr. Prossick a month ago. I was having issues with my left breast. I had breast cancer 7 years ago and was hoping it would not return. It returned and was a different cancer in the same breast. It started in August with itching and my breast was red. It was not painful at that time just irritating. I went to my family doctor 4 times and to them it was no big deal and acted totally unconcerned. I had also had a mammogram and an ultra sound. The radiologist told me there was no cancer and I showed her my breast and she said it looked fine to her and check with my doctor. I begged my doctor and the PA to give me an antibiotic and both refused . The PA gave me an anti fungal cream that cost $60 and did nothing. I was referred to a dermatologist. I was so fortunate and saw Dr. Prossickr. She gave me 2 rounds of antibiotics , an anti fungal cream and steroids . I saw her twice and on the second visit she did a biopsy and of course it was cancer (Pagets Cancer of the Breast) From the time it began until I saw her 6 months has passed. For the life of me after seeing family practice four times, radiologist and mammogram not one of those doctors referred me to oncology knowing my history. I have thanked God so many times i met Dr. Prossick. I am now going to KU Med next Wednesday to meet with a surgeon and get this cancer out of my body. Everyone there was so professional and kind to me.

I had a really good experience with Dr. Prossick. After systematically going over all of the moles and age spots on my body, I had a problem with 2. She was able to remove them right away in the same appointment. I would recommend Dr. Trisha Prossick to my friends.

I went to see Doctor Prossick in 17, just came in for a scalp issue; she spotted, within a minute, a skin lesion she did not like and a biopsy was preformed. Stage 2 melanoma I own semis, that, even new, rattle apart, and, the mechanic changing the oil who noticed a coolant leak, a worn belt, who does MORE than their job, saves me much. This doctor's eyes were supposed to be on my scalp, were instead doing, by rote, practice or training, more than expected, saved my face (they had to cut a nice chunk out of my face), my eyesight, my nose, my life. I went back recently, lost insurance due to retirement, we pay cash, and, for 60$ to 150$, I was told, I could see her again; she basically, when hearing no insurance, did a wellness check on my body, froze off a blemish that she didnt like, offered to biopsy it, and total charge....less than 150$...so, when Doctor P requires her ex whacked, and takes out an ad on craigslist, I'm stepping up!😎I'll be there, I owe her. So, IF YOURE PISSY BECAUSE SOMEONE OVERWORKED AT THE COUNTER MADE A CLERICAL MISTAKE...(never happened with me) I'd rather be alive due to the services of an attentive doctor than complain about, " someone put me on hold! Twice!" Perhaps the Hold will cure your whine?

Trisha Prossick & her staff are very nice & helpful. A couple times I was finished b4 my scheduled time to be there. Performed two in office surgeries with no pain.
