I’ve been seeing Dr. Pilest for over 15 years, and he is truly the best in dermatology. I travel all the way from Torrance just to see him. I’ve tried other dermatologists in the past, but I always come back because the results I get here are absolutely fabulous. I’ve had Thermage, Mface, and neurotoxin treatments, and I couldn’t be happier with the outcomes. The staff is always friendly and welcoming, which makes every visit a great experience. Dr Pilest is caring and encouraging on what would be the best procedure for the patient’s request. Excellent supporting staff, notably Jessica and Sandy. They explain the procedure, what to expect during the procedure and explains your recovery. I have going to Total Dermatology for 8 years and has been the best decision that I have made.

Hello - I had my first microneedling with Salmon DNA session at the clinic and it went really well. The staff were kind and explained everything clearly, which made me feel comfortable. The treatment was easier than I expected and the redness so far is mild! Looking forward to my next sessions.

I always feel like a princess when I come here…The staff… Dr Pilest… Everybody is so empathetic and thoughtful and I can’t imagine going anywhere else!! I look 10 years younger because of Dr Pilest and his team… And I’ve been going to them for over 15 years… And I love how they never try to upsell me … In fact, it’s very conservative in the way they recommend treatments, which I love!! Further, the variety of treatments at total dermatology is unmatched!!! Dr Pilest always has the latest and greatest from any kind of filler you could imagine to lasers to Facials to body contouring …The world is your oyster when you come here literally!! If I’ve read about some kind of new treatment somewhere like the salmon facial😂…. I know for a fact that Dr. Pilest will have it, and know all about it ❤️ 🥰 Can’t say enough positives!!!!

I visited this dermatology clinic in Irvine and unfortunately had a disappointing experience. I was prescribed a medication that did not help at all, even after giving it enough time. When I contacted the office to explain that the medication was not effective, I was told that the doctor would not change the treatment unless I came in for another visit and paid a second consultation fee. I explained that I had already paid for the visit and medication without seeing any improvement, but they insisted on another payment. I did not feel supported as a patient, and I was disappointed with the lack of follow-up care. Because of this, I chose not to continue treatment with this clinic. I hope this feedback helps the clinic improve their patient care and communication in the future.
