We had been wanting to try this place for years but somehow never got around to it until now. Maybe our expectations were too high? We are very adventurous eaters, travel a lot, and love big flavors. The service was excellent, and the atmosphere was nice, but the wall art seemed sloppy and amateur. I get it, it's supposed to be silly and wacky to match the theme of the restaurant, but it just didn't appeal to us. Our drinks were good, but nothing to write home about. We had the tiger prawn teaser, which tasted like a regular fried shrimp with no standout flavors. The "just shroomin" custard had a great flavor but was more of a mush/goop, and I understand it can't be a real custard because it's vegan, but the texture was unappealing. The pork buns were good, but again, nothing standout or unique. The best dish by far was the market fish. Cooked to a perfect, blackened crust and with a delicious sauce. I could have used 3x the sauce. The potatoes that came with it were also good, but I would have preferred a different veg side that would, IMO, pair better with the fish. Overall we really liked it and would recommend it to anyone looking for a nice dinner date.

My partner and I went here to celebrate our anniversary. The staff made it very special for us! Everyone was absolutely wonderful. The food was incredible. We got the date night special, and each item was better than the next. My particular favorite was the gnocchi and the pork belly buns. The cocktails were to die for, I could have had nothing but the Erroneous Negroni-ous all night long 😅 This place is special and I'm not surprised it's been around as long as it has. cant wait to come back! Thank you tounge in check team for the very special experience ❤️

We go out to eat often. Probably too often. It takes a lot to truly stand out at this point, and this place absolutely did. Every bite was delicious. A special shout-out to the teasers, which we almost skipped because we weren’t totally sure what they were from the menu. They’re small, perfectly crafted bites and honestly one of the highlights of our meal. Don’t sleep on them. The cocktails were incredibly balanced, creative without being weird for the sake of it, and the flight option is a dangerously delightful idea. The atmosphere is casual, cozy, and genuinely welcoming, the kind of place that immediately makes you want to settle in and stay awhile. Food-wise, the pad thai salad was a fresh, satisfying take on a classic. The jerk cauliflower hit the ideal balance of spice and flavor. Service was fantastic across the board. Our waiter was knowledgeable and gave helpful guidance. Also, every staff member who passed our table checked in and made sure we had what we needed. A small but much-appreciated touch was fresh silverware and plates between courses. It’s the kind of detail that quietly tells you they care. This place is an absolute gem in East St. Paul. A true standout and one we won’t soon forget. I’m already looking forward to going back.

Everything was excellent! The cocktail flight was creative and delicious, the pad Thai was full of flavor, and the smashed potatoes were perfectly crispy. The pork belly buns were melt-in-your-mouth good. Great food, great service — can’t wait to go back!

First time here, but I'll be back! From the atmosphere to the dessert, everything was top notch! Tried a flight of mimosas and was so pleased as the variety and flavors. Service was excellent, food delicious, and drinks fun! High recommended checking this place out!

Hey, food lovers! If you're looking for a brunch spot that offers unique dishes and bold, mouthwatering flavors, this is the place to be. I highly recommend starting with the teasers– they’re the perfect way to kick off your meal. My personal favorites were the blueberry on the spoon and the pork belly. The blueberry is an explosion of flavor in just one bite! I also tried the new mushroom teaser, which had great flavor but was a little too salty for my taste, so I probably wouldn't order it again. For drinks, be sure to try the flights – they feature a variety of drinks with different flavors. The Kiss of Dragon was a standout for me, but the flight is a great way to sample a little bit of everything. For my main course, I had the chicken and waffles and the salmon eggs Benedict, both of which were absolutely amazing. The chicken and waffles here are fantastic, and some of my favorite around! To top it all off, I indulged in the Ode to Chocolate Dome dessert. The rich chocolate and gooey marshmallow were delicious, and the yogurt-like side flavor added an interesting twist – it was good, especially when mixed in with everything. I’m definitely planning to come back and film some videos for my upcoming food-tasting channel, so stay tuned – I’ll be featuring their dishes soon!

A cozy and romantic spot atmosphere for dinner! It was completely full on Friday night, I’m glad I had a reservation. I ordered the vegasm, which is a surprise vegan entree. What a fun concept! On that day I was served braised mushroom ‘scallops’ over creamy cauliflower risotto. The flavors were great, I would only suggest cooking the cauliflower a bit more. The dish was beautiful too, I didn’t get a photo unfortunately. The bill was about $60 for two entrees and two drinks
