I have been taking weekly private Italian lessons with Lorenzo for about 9 months now. Such an enjoyable learning experience! Our lessons are always interesting and varied. Our work with a text book is supplemented by conversation, discussions of Italian current events, reading aloud, writing themes, etc. Of course we talk about what we are eating for dinner or what we cooked over the weekend. Lorenzo is an excellent teacher and he makes even a challenging grammar lesson entertaining -- at least as entertaining as it can be! I highly recommend Lorenzo as an instructor and as a person. I feel like we know each other's families and that truly sets the tone for a positive learning environment. I always look forward to my lesson and hope to be able to converse a bit in Italian without being too nervous for an upcoming trip to Sicily.

I took advanced Italian lessons for ten weeks prior to my trip to Italy (I had previously studied it on my own). Lorenzo was an outstanding teacher and adjusted the pace of the lessons to my level of knowledge and understanding. He kept the lessons interesting and varied, and I substantially improved my ability to speak and understand Italian. As the best proof, I was able to hold numerous extended conversations in Italy during my trip.

My one-on-one ZOOM Italian lessons with Lorenzo Dellagiovanna began during the pandemic. This may be the very best thing that COVID gave me - private time with an excellent language teacher who knows history, food, geography, and culture as well as how to teach Italian. I look forward to my weekly sessions with Lorenzo. When I traveled to Italy a few months ago, I had much more confidence with the language and better results. Learning a language is hard. It helps when your teacher is kind, patient, fun and very competent. Grazie, Lorenzo!

T & L Global was a great place to learn Italian. The instructor was very friendly, and generous with his time. In addition to teaching the language, he offered historical background, insights into the culture, and even recommendations for travel.
