The Rhoades Preschool

What an amazing experience! As someone with an education background I was looking for something very specific for my children and found it at this school. I know first hand how important the teachers are to the school as a whole. The communication is great and everything seems easy and joyful. More importantly I have noticed the teachers truly happy and demonstrating amazing patience and love for the craft. The Enrichment Director and Miriam expressed how the school supports her to go above and beyond and is always pouring into the children and thinking outside of the box. She teaches science and cooking and runs the afterschool program alongside supporting teachers and parents. Specifically when an emergency occurs she stayed at school until 8 pm reassuring all parents that their Children were safe and taken care of . She expressed that she has been given the green light to focus on the children and excessive her expertise to meet children where they are. Her love and joy for teaching puts all of in awe and we appreciate the extra care she give to each child. The school is an amazing place to be apart of

Rhoades Preschool has been absolutely amazing for our kiddo — she has truly grown and blossomed since the day she started. The teachers here are exceptional, and I want to especially highlight a few who have made a huge impact on our family. Ms. Danielle is fantastic — patient, calming, and incredibly nurturing. She has such a gentle presence and knows exactly how to support each child’s emotional needs. Ms. Miriam is a total godsend. Her energy and enthusiasm make every activity fun and engaging, and the kids adore her. She brings so much joy to the classroom! I’ve also really appreciated everything Nicole, the new preschool campus principal, has brought to the school. From great communication to introducing new language classes (Mandarin and French!) and organizing much-needed community events, she’s made a wonderful difference. The new extracurriculars like cooking and yoga have been such a bonus too. We’re so grateful for this preschool — it’s a warm, loving environment where children truly thrive. Highly recommend!

We are really enjoyed the gentle and inclusive approach Ms Christelle takes with our little one. She made the transition to preschool smooth and our littlest looks forward to going to school everyday. Ms Danielle was absolutely fantastic with our older one leaving them prepared for TK. Ms Miriam keeps the kids engaged in science and language. Overall, the school does an absolutely wonderful job and goes above and beyond by offering daily music class with Mr Richard and incorporating art in day-to-day work. Ms Barbara and Ms Nicole makes drop off easy and provide the kids with much love and snacks that they actually enjoy. They make it easy for busy parents.

We couldn’t be happier with our experience at Rhoades Preschool. My oldest daughter started at the school at 2.5 years old and graduated PreK. She is now in Kindergarten and was extremely prepared for Kinder and I credit Rhoades for giving her such a strong academic foundation. She still talks about her preK teacher Miss Roseann who is wonderful. My younger daughter is currently at Rhoades and is thriving. She says "school is my favorite thing to do" and adores her teacher Miss Danielle. Miss Danielle is so warm and loving and makes the kids feel special. She is always filling their day with fun, creative activities and makes learning fun. The kids are exposed to so much more than a standard curriculum - for example they have Spanish, Mandarin, French, music, science, and even cooking. The other families have been great and it is a really wonderful community that we are thankful to be apart of.

The Rhoades Preschool truly goes above and beyond in every way! It will EXCEED your expectations for what a preschool should be! They have unique programs, like Mandarin classes to hands-on cooking lessons, and their new French program starting soon!! The Rhoades Preschool only has three classrooms, which makes it feel like one big family, everyone knows one another, which creates a welcoming atmosphere for both children and parents. The teachers are exceptionally friendly and dedicated, always greeting families with genuine care and enthusiasm. Another wonderful benefit of Rhoades is that it doesn’t stop at preschool. The school also offers a Lower School (elementary) and Middle School, allowing my preschooler to transition smoothly into the next stages of their education and have amazing consistency. The director, Ms. Nicole, is another highlight. She is not only attentive and professional but also takes the time to connect with families on a personal level. Rhoades Preschool is more than just a place for early education! You will absolutely love it!

Our experience with the Preschool has been incredible currently with Ms. Christelle and previously with Mrs Rosanne. The environment is wonderful and my kids love it and learn so much. The principle Nicole is really involved and gets so much done for the school.

Getting our daughter Zoe to The Rhoades Preschool was one of the best decisions we made! The preschool campus size is perfect for a child that age and in no time, Zoe was comfortable with her teacher and all the other teachers in campus! She started in the toddler class at age 3 and was already writing her name by the time she graduated. We got regular progress updates from the school and the teacher was always available for a quick discussion at drop off or pick up. Curriculum: The school offers music, french & mandarin in addition to the main academic curriculum. The kids love Mr. Richard who comes in for music 4 times a week. Ms Miriam is an amazing partner teacher and helps with almost everything around the school and Zoe has learned so much from her. She incorporates learning into even the fun moments and puts so much thought and zest behind every teaching moment. Administration: Ms Nicole is a WONDERFUL principal and I can truly say the school has jumped leaps since she took charge. She is familiar with every child on campus, she takes a personal interest in each and every family and has a keen eye on the classroom, she actively listens to parent concerns and is just overall so warm and loving! She ensures the admin staff is extremely responsive and communication with the school on any logistics related item for the child has been very smooth. Teachers: Given all the kids play in the common area, other class teachers are familiar with Zoe as well and this made our transition to Ms Roseanne's class (Pre-K) a cakewalk! I have heard incredible things about Ms Roseanne from graduating parents and I could not be more thrilled for Zoe to have a great year of both academic and social emotional learning. The school has a 12 month program which is incredible for parents needing summer coverage! The added bonus was that Zoe spent the summer with Ms Roseanne and already knows her teacher going into the school year. Finally, Rhoades has a great parent community. I have made great friends through this community and we are able to share our experiences, struggles and learnings as we navigate the pre-Kindergarten phase. Overall, The Rhoades Preschool has been SO amazing, I cannot wait to uncover all that Zoe will become in her final year at the preschool!
