Omg! Their seasonal baklava latte is absolutely delicious and the espresso is so smooth (and I’m super picky). The loose tea selection is abundant and the retail side of the store has so many goodies! Could’ve been lost in there for hours! Definitely going back. 😊

After waiting for several minutes at the deserted cafe counter just to be helped, my extra hot, no foam latte was made barely warm and so foamy, it's practically a dry cappuccino. Wish I could say it was a one-off, but this has happened multiple times the last couple of months in particular. Used to have quick service and perfect drinks, so maybe there was a staff change? Disappointing either way.

I’ve had the pleasure of attending several different cooking classes with Kitchen Engine, each with varying hands-on levels. Recently, I attended another master class by Jamie Aquino! I've been eyeing her Farm to Table class for a couple years and finally had the chance to attend with my dad. This class is great because you also get a trip to the Kendall Yards Farmers Market where Jamie breaks down what's in season and an ideas for how to use various ingredients. You shop along with her as she picks out the main ingredients for the class and have time to shop yourself before getting started with the actual class back at the Kitchen Engine. Her classes and dishes are vegetarian and plant-based so you leave with nutritious and delicious recipes. My only disclaimer is that this class (and really any class) will be challenging for those with mobility issues. The walking involved at the market with this class and the bar stool seating for the 3-hr class was difficult for my father, who has mobility issues. That said, he has a blast. Just a callout so you know what to expect.

Absolutely wonderful experience. Great environment, professional, knowledgeable and inspiring instruction. Food was amazing. Our chef, Jaime Aquino was brilliant. Can't wait for another lesson and now we can prepare these receipes for friends and family. Well worth the price of admissions.

I had a gift coupon and strolled around the store looking for the perfect way to use it. The person who helped me was very knowledgeable and instantly led me to the item I wanted. I added some other items to my purchase as well. I would advise that you keep a strong grip on your will power lest you keep finding things you just can't live without!

The Kitchen Engine has a surprisingly great selection of tools and gadgets and speciality food items. I was looking for new flatware and wasn't finding a style I liked at the bigger cookware stores. I found my set, and the option to buy individual pieces, here! Super helpful staff.

The young lady that sharpens the knives was just leaving and kindly waited for me to register my knives. So kind. The clerk at the register was also very helpful and kind with the instructions and signed me up for future emails. It was a delightful experience.
