Small cozy place, really good service and when our banchan ran low our server would refill it right away. I gave this place is a 4 star because their seolleongtang is that good and for $12 not a bad deal. I dropped a star because of the cabbage and beef rib; it was $24 but the beef ribs was so small. They were pretty much scraps. I'd go back for the seolleongtang but not the other stuff. Their japchae banchan was so good, radish and cabbage kimchi were so bland.

Absolutely delicious. This was the best beef bone soup I’ve ever had. It was so clean, so flavorful, I could seriously drink a gallon of that daily if I could. The beef was fall off the bone tender. The glass noodles were super yummy too. Very high quality meal. I can’t wait to come back and try more of the menu

What a inconspicuous gem💎! Superb and I mean SUPERB customer service, delicious food and great vibes from this place..not a sad face to be seen in Sulga House!! Lived down the street from Sulga House for years and I am so happy I finally came in a for a visit because we left even happier. Came in for oxtail bone broth soup on a rainy day and got the beef bulgogi too; we loved every bite. Inside, is a sorta of no frills type of setup and I'm thinking that works well to support customer turnover because I can imagine how easy it is to stay in there for long periods of time and eating until you pop. I really also enjoyed the family style and the variety of offerings besides their exquisite soups and hot pots so we could diversify our taste bud's experience in a generous fashion. Definitely going to be a repeat customer.

At $11.99 a bowl in 2025, the best value Korean meal around LA. Very generous portions and extremely tasty food. Go here! Now!

10/5. I was here when they had a random health inspection check, and it was nice to hear that they got an "A" last time and easily passed with another "A" when I was there. TL;DR - Clean establishment, amazing & authentic food and family owned & operated. Amazing family owned spot with amazing food. I don’t like in LA and I’m a greedy fatty, so I ordered the ox tail soup and asked if I could also get the short rib on the side because why not, I don’t know when the next time is that I’ll be here. And they obliged with an up charge no problems at all. Thank you SO much. 🤌🏼🤤❤️ The soups were divine, all the food was delicious, and the banchan reminded me of my mother’s. The kimchi was perfect, the Japchae tasted amazing. ALSO, I left my hat here by accident and I live in Nashville, TN.. they were nice enough to call me back later. She did indeed call me back later, I asked if I emailed them a UPS label, would they mind boxing it up for me and dropping it off at the market in the same plaza that also happens to be a UPS drop off location. The owner had me send the label to her daughter to print off. I also asked if I could somehow digitally send them some money and they said not to worry about it and they hope I get my hat back safely. Like how wholesome and sweet. Thank you again ladies for all of your help, can't wait to come back here again and eat all of the great food. Thank you ladies again! 아주 감사합니다!

Love the brisket soup and how hot it stayed during the entire meal. You can tell this is a special restaurant because even each side dish was distinctive (for example, fish cakes were slightly Smokey). Seafood pancake is very crispy and surprisingly "light" with a lot of crispy veggies inside. I loved it though it is a little bland and benefits from some salt. Service is a great. Wonderful restaurant.
