Lovely, calm setting in a Japanese style, having guests remove their shoes and saunter smoothly down the wooden hallways to their treatment. Staff was so lovely and attentive; Yass was my masseuse and not only gave me a thorough Swedish massage, checking in with me as to the pressure and conditions of the room, but also moved my limbs with such gentleness and care, as well as brought me tea after my treatment! I highly recommend this spa for anyone staying at the hotel or nearby in the area 🙂

This is a rare place where you can warm your body on a bed of natural mineral stones brought from Japan. (called "Gan Ban Yoku") My body had been cold since I moved to the US, but this experience warmed me up from the core and I feel like my immunity has improved. I'm very satisfied to be able to get the same benefits as a natural hot spring in Japan. This is definitely a more elevated experience than a sauna and is open to both men and couples as well as women. I was impressed that they have not increased the price of "Ganbanyoku" for over 10 years because it is for the benefit of people's health. Also, each and every interior decoration was carefully crafted and it had a very clean feel, making me feel like I was in Japan.

Feels like you are in Japan. Clean and well maintained. The SGE Super Growth Energy stone is definitely worth experiencing. I have difficulty sweating but I was able to on the stone. I bought the spa plus lunch special. What a treat to be able to feel relaxed and enjoy a gourmet meal afterwards. I will be recommending to my friends to join me.

Best massage I’ve had in the United States. It was a 50-minute Swedish massage, but the Japanese therapist, Yuzu, had techniques similar but different from therapists trained here in the USA. It was extraordinarily relaxing and completely rejuvenating. My entire spa experience at Spa Relaken was amazing. The hostess, Kumiko, was professional but also warm and welcoming. She showed me where to leave my shoes, where to change, and where to sit in the Relaxation Lounge until your therapist is ready. This is also where you sit with hot green tea to slowly finish your relaxation process post-massage. I’m only sorry to live so far from Torrance, but now look forward to our next trip and trying the hot stone spa along with another massage.

I arrived 15 minutes early for my scheduled 80-minute massage, only to be told it would be cut short or I should book a 50 min appt iareas because the client before me had shown up late. Instead of honoring the time I had reserved, the staff suggested I should book a shorter session next time if I need to leave on time. Why should I be penalized for another client’s tardiness? No effort was made to accommodate me or offer any kind of solution. Really disappointing customer service. I will not be coming back ever again.

Very good experience here. The hot stone sauna experience is unlike anything I have experienced. My massage therapist was very good and gave a thorough relaxing massage. I do wish the jacuzzi tub was hotter but that's my only complaint. I loved how the dressing area had every accommodation you could need including hair cream, lotion, face wash all of good quality. Would love to come visit again. The restaurant right next door in the hotel is to die for. If you love Japanese you have to stop by.

I have been to this Spa over 5 times and each experience has been wonderful, starting with simply booking my appointment. The staff is always very polite and accommodating. This Spa is very clean and relaxing, a little on the small side but it definitely serves it's purpose. I have never had a visit where it was crowded with guest, you usually feel like you have the Spa to yourself even if you see a couple of other guest walking around. They also have Spa memberships which can come in handy. I most certainly would recommend this Spa to anyone.
