Skyuka Hall School

Skyuka really is such an amazing school for kids to grow in courage and confidence. These kids are so incredibly smart, with big hearts, and strong dedications to succeed. I worked the desk there and loved both the students and staff.

Skyuka is such a special place. Both the teachers and the leadership staff strive to truly make it feel like family and they wholeheartedly share in each student's achievements. Incredibly grateful for a school that focuses on students that might otherwise be overlooked and overshadowed. The confidence and pride in these students is so evident! Would recommend Skyuka over and over again!

I have had two sons that have attended Skyuka including the first Skyuka grad to walk across the stage. I have also served on the board of Skyuka for several years because of how much I believe in the school. Skyuka tailors education to the needs of the student better than the vast majority of schools. Dr. Yother, Ms. Moore, and the teachers are excellent and dedicated to the school. While the current temporary campus is less than ideal, the future of the school will include a much nicer campus.

As a school bus driver I have had the privilege to drive for a few of Skyuka Halls off campus field trips and I must say I was impressed with the staff and the kid’s behavior. I personally know some of the leadership and I believe they have great integrity and always strive to promote the best in each student. GO WOLFPACK!!

My daughter started here for middle school 3 years ago after a loooong, agonizing, and prayerful time of decision making. I will never forget being at parent/teacher conferences at her public elementary school and being asked, "Does she speak? CAN she speak? I’ve never heard her speak?!" Boy oh boy does she speak now haha She is a social butterfly with oodles of friends (and an adorable boyfriend) throughout this school and several other schools in our county as well! She gets the academic support she needs and has found her voice and her confidence in this wonderful place that supports the WHOLE FAMILY. If you are in that same place trying to decide if this school is the answer to your worries, take a tour! Meet the wonderful teachers and administration. It can change your child’s whole life and give your worried soul a rest.

This school and their amazing staff have changed my granddaughter’s life. She had gone from an almost speechless person in public to a chatterbox who has the confidence now to participate actively. Their academic approach is helping her find and reach her potential. Love is the one word to describe their approach to learning enabling every student to become their very best.

No better school than Skyuka! They have helped our daughter soar in ways the medical community did not even believe she could! Dr. Yother and his staff invest their time and hearts into each of these children and the outcome is amazing!
