Tara has the worst customer service I have ever experienced at any store. Sephora or Ulta. Janet was kind and helpful but Tara’s got to go through some customer service training or put her in the back. I would consider forfeiting my Sephora credit card and point accounts due to the lack of service received. It’s probably better to just buy online from the brand itself. The manager was in a meeting in the back at 430pm on a Saturday and could help a customer asking for her. She’s in the wrong line of work. Also perhaps put some effort into your appearance at work you work at a beauty store. She’s some kind of supervisor and I’m not sure how that’s possible. It seemed that all the employees around her knew exactly who I was talking about when I described her attitude.

Was getting my makeup&hair product in this store for the past 2 years and now I rather go to another Sephora even it’s farther away and here is why. This afternoon, I noticed that the lipstick shade I wanted was finally back in stock, so I came in right away to buy it. I’m a student at ASU and usually commute by e-scooter. My previous scooter was stolen two weeks ago, and I just bought a new one. The lock I ordered hasn’t arrived yet, so I brought the scooter into the store with me. No one stopped me when I walked in, and I didn’t see any signs saying it wasn’t allowed, so I assumed it was okay. I picked up the lipstick I wanted and browsed for less than five minutes. Then a staff member approached me and told me that store policy doesn’t allow scooters inside. I said I understood and could check out right away, but she still asked me to leave immediately without making a purchase and even called another employee over. I explained again that I just needed ONE minute to pay, and then suggested that I could leave the scooter outside if someone could at least keep an eye on it for a moment. They responded very bluntly, saying things like "That’s not our responsibility" and "No one is going to steal your scooter", which was frankly ironic cuz my last scooter was stolen an that’s exactly why I’m in this situation. I had no option but to leave the item I picked out and walk out immediately. You could have informed me when I entered the store(so i don’t have to waste my time arguing) or communicated the policy in a more considerate way. This could’ve been handled SO MUCH BETTER, and now I’m just disappointed. I won’t be coming back again.

My daughters and I just left the Sephora in Tempe Marketplace. We just came from work and had dinner so we are carrying bags with us. We made two purchases and as we were leaving an associate was at the door to let us out but while we were leaving she was staring at our bags as if we just shoplifted. The nerve of her. We have receipts for the items I PURCHASED FOR BOTH OF MY DAUGHTERS. I work retail and I’m a Manager at that. Not everyone is here to steal. I work hard to give my daughters a good example, so needless to say, Sephora lost my business. I can personally afford to buy anything I touch in there. Please treat your customers better.

Edlin is freaking awesome she really made this the best Sephora experience. Going above and beyond saving me from a crazy long line. She’s the reason people will be loyal to a company. Give this girl a raise!

I love this location but I tend to avoid it due to management! I find the manger Janet to be rude on all my visits there. She is very unfriendly on all occasions I have been there. I see that her culture had infiltrated many of the other team members there as they are not friendly or useful! I have found only one gal Tara that was smiling and helpful! If you can go to any other Sephora I would do it! They need training on customer service in a big way!

Omg the smell in this place is overwhelming. They either need to improve ventilation or open the doors. My daughter and I had to leave as we both started to get a headache. But on the plus side, they selection of fragrances is enormous.
