I have been a regular visitor for over a year, and my ratings reflect the overall establishment rather than the individual professional I see. The building's front desk had been without a concierge for several months, a situation to which I was indifferent. However, since her arrival, a marked shift in atmosphere has been observed. She consistently ignores my presence, failing to even acknowledge me with a smile. While I initially attributed this to rudeness, observing her repeatedly provide exceptional service to white clients has led me to a different conclusianon. This business should prioritize inclusivity, ensuring that all clients are treated with kindness and fairness. If you're a person of color considering renting a space, DON'T!

Morgan did an amazing job on my hair, and she was very professional and empathetic. She offered me a drink and a snack while waiting for my hair to be ready to dye. Her office was super cute as well. Recommended for all weid kids!

This is for Donna’s African Hair Braiding Shop inside JC salon. Donna’s professionalism as a stylist is the worst I have ever come across and would not recommend to anyone. Her business should be reviewed and her license revoked. While braiding my hair she asked for me to pay her the full $280 so that she could pay the other stylist in the suite. When questioned why? She caught an attitude and said she needed to pay her while the other stylist stood next to her looking for payment. Feeling pressured I pay the full amount via Zelle which is the only payment she accepts beside cash. I found her attitude and her telling me to pay her before she finished braiding my hair beyond professional and to add insult to injury she told me the money would be to pay the other stylist. It gets worse why doing my hair she complained about the antibacterial/hypoallergenic braid hair I purchased and told me that the hair was difficult to use and takes her longer to braid my hair. Prior to my service I informed her I could not use her braid hair due to having a sensitive scalp and that no matter of washing the braid hair she had available would help with my allergies to her particular braid of hair products. I told her I would bring the braid hair that is used for sensitive scalp. At no point did she say not to purchase and agreed that it would be best to purchase the hair I intended to use for my braided style. Also, while she braiding my hair she stopped to assist the other braiding stylist and worked on helping her braid a younger clients hair that she messed up for 45mins. That was valuable time taken away from my hair being completed in timely fashion. Finally, she had the nerve to ask me to take a picture of my hair once she finished braiding my hair. I told her no and she stated " I just wanted to take a picture of my work and I promise I will not show your face". Feeling pressured I relented and said okay because I had been sitting there for 7 hours getting my hair braided and just wanted to leave as quickly as possible without causing a scene. As I gathered my things she had the audacity to ask me to write a google review for her about my service and hair. Well here is her review and I would not recommend anyone get there hair braided by her. Lastly she took pictures of a minor without parental consent after her other hair braider completed her hair.

Great place for a Muslim woman to get a haircut. Private room gives you total privacy to take off the hijab. Great service! Shout-out to Lauren Whaley.

Lauren was so nice and polite. She even made recommendations for my hair, because I know nothing about this sort of thing it was nice to have my questions answered. Very professional.
