First time purchasing a meal here at Ramen Legend . Placed an order for the spicy peppercorn chicken. With fried rice. The taste is delicious, its a different heat than i am usually accustomed to. For some it might be to much spice but for myself It is a perfect blend. I would suggest white rice , it is spicy. I would return here again.
I’m a Huge Ramen Nerd. I had high expectations for this place based off of the reviews I’ve seen. However, this was the most disgusting ramen I’ve ever had. I can’t even fathom how terrible it was. I did not even finish. I took 3 slurps of noodles and I was done. I tried to stomach it and I couldn’t. My stomach ached for like a good hour. The broth was bland, leading to me to believe they forgot the tare. The aromatic oil smelled strongly of pork scum, as if they forgot to remove during the blanching process. Their charshu was mushy and flavorless. Their Ajitama egg was seasoned but had little to no flavor and over cooked. The only flavorful thing in my bowl was the bacon. The Noodles were decent with a firm cook. The spice level was non existent. We ordered the pork gyoza, which were decent but had better and made better. My wife enjoyed the dragonfruit Margarita. She too could not stomach her bowl. I ordered the Spicy 3 Pork Ramen and she ordered the Spicy Miso Pork Ramen. Our waiter was tentative to us and noticed our dissatisfaction, although my wife did not want me to cause a scene. We wastefully paid our 85 dollars took our ramen , and tossed it in the trash where it belongs. Please DO NOT COME HERE!! NOTE: The way the bowl looked is the way it was served at least clean the RIM to make it look decent. P.S. I’m so grotesque lookin at it …PLEASE QUIT TRYIN TO SAVE MONEY WHERE YOU CAN, AND FOCUS BACK ON THE BASIC. 1. Broth, 2. Tare, 3. Aromatic Oil, 4. Noodles, and 5. Toppings. IF YOU WANT A RUNNING EGG THAT LAST AT LEAST 3-4 DAYS COOK IT FOR 6.5 ….MINUTES….
Clean, casual ramen restaurant with delicious food. The vegetarian ramen was very good. A bit pricey at $13.50 but since it was a good portion size with lots of fresh vegetables and ramen in a delicious broth we will go back. The service was also excellent.
The spicy three pork ramen I had here was quite tasty, but I wish that this restaurant would stick more with doing traditional forms of ramen well. It wasn’t necessary to add bacon and pulled pork to ramen or to have flavors like green curry, kimchi, and tomyam. However, maybe some people like the fusion dishes, so that’s just me. The takoyaki was pretty good, but I missed having bonito flakes as toppings.
It’s in the name, Ramen Legend was an amazing, first time experience on my birthday, Giselle, sorry if I said your name wrong, but your customer service was excellent and sweet, you gave us amazing recommendations and you are very friendly, Best birthday visit ever. This will be definitely be worth the 1 hour drive to come here. Will come back soon for more 🙂
Staff were incredibly friendly the food was great, full of flavor and quite filling. The shrimp was slightly overcooked and tough, but otherwise great. The main issue with the restaurant is that it's extremely cold. I had to go retrieve a coat for my daughter just to be able to eat. Make sure you prepare accordingly.
We came for lunch and we enjoyed it. The service was prompt and friendly and we got our food quickly. The food itself was delicious and I definitely recommend! I had the Spicy 3 Pork Ramen and it was very good! It had the perfect level of spice and flavor!
