I’ve had both pork and chicken katsu meals, they’re SO delicious! I went today and who I believe is the manager immediately said "katsu again today?"LOL that tells you how much I like this place and how great the service is! The atmosphere of the restaurant is open and relaxed with so much seating available. They have self order if you want to review the menu close up rather than ordering at the counter and feeling pressured to choose quickly. I’ve had the hot dog, takoyaki and spring rolls which are yummy appetizers but I love the katsu so much I think I’ll stick to that from now on 🙂

This was my first time eating at Open Kitchen after the new management, and I was highly impressed by the atmosphere and quality of food. We tried the Spicy Pork Bulgogi Bibimbop, Soy Garlic Fried Popcorn Chicken, and Potato Shrimp, just to name a few. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful. There was so much variety on the menu and in terms of snacks, drinks, and ice cream. I also found the ramen bar interesting as well, as it was my first time seeing so many different flavors in one spot. Overall, everything was delicious and reasonably priced, and I hope to come back soon!

Oh my gosh this place is so amazing! I came here with family and we all had an amazing Good Friday brunch together. We ordered tonkatsu and chicken, and it was so so good! The meat for both dishes was so crisp and seasoned just right. I highly recommend the sandwiches as well. I had one, and everything about it was to die for. The packaging was adorable, the sandwich itself had so much flavor and the bread was toasted perfectly. We even got take out to eat for dinner! The atmosphere is very chill and laidback, perfect for any occasion. The service was excellent and the staff were so engaging with their customers. I would come here a thousand times more!

My first time at this restaurant. I decided to try something new for breakfast. I ordered their breakfast sandwich of Steak Egg & Cheese. The huge Texas size brioche bread was delightfully soft, sweet, and slightly grilled that just melted in your mouth. I asked for Sriracha mayo and Swiss cheese. This was very delicious! You should see the rest of their menu, they have ramen, burgers, fried chicken, dumplings, wings, etc. Open Kitchen been at 1300 17th St N, Arlington/Rosslyn for about a year, and I highly recommend it!

Recently started getting lunch here and food is so delicious! Great prices, various options for meals and snacks, great service and prompt as well for a quick lunch pickup. Steak and cheese sandwich plus the donkatsu were both amazing as well as the bulgogi and rice. You can’t really go wrong with anything on the menu! Staff are also very friendly. One of my favorite lunch options for sure!

Family owned business that treats their customers like family. Their service was very fast and professional. I highly reccomend the chicken fajita omelet and the Bulgogi Bi-Bim-Bap! Also their macadamia nut cookie parred with their freshly brewed coffee is a combo that will have you coming back. Lastly, the atmosphere is quiet serene. Great place to sip on coffee and read.

I was so excited to see Open Kitchen's Korean menu online that I made a trek from my distant office across Rosslyn to come visit. I made it here not only to find that amazing Korean menu, but a vast assortment of Korean drinks, snacks, and a whole ramen bar, all in the most beautiful quaint space! I ordered the sweet and spicy (gochujang) popcorn chicken, which came with radish and a powdering of cheese on top. This is absolutely delicious! I can tell the sauce is housemade, which I give these folks a big kudos for. Overall, super super pleased this is here and I'll regularly be making the trek for lunch. Big ups, Open Kitchen!
