I had a wonderful experience with Dr. Chavin and his team this morning. Dr. Chavin is not only knowledgeable and professional, but also warm and genuinely funny, which immediately put me at ease. That kind of bedside manner makes such a difference as a patient. Cindy, my hygienist, was incredibly gentle and thorough during my cleaning. She took great care with my teeth and made sure I was comfortable the entire time. I mentioned that I sometimes feel a "zing" when drinking cold beverages, and they both took the time to explain what might be causing it. Cindy recommended applying Sensodyne directly along the gum line of the sensitive tooth and letting it sit — such a simple but helpful tip. I’m truly thankful for their knowledge, caring nature, and calm approach. They made me feel comfortable and well cared for, which is so important to me. I highly recommend this office.

New patient experience: I was nervous walking in because I was with my previous dentist for 25 years until his retirement and wasn’t sure what to expect. The office is very modern and the lady checking in was super friendly and personable. Hannah did my cleaning and she was so nice and very gentle. She explained everything she was doing during the cleaning and I appreciate she didn’t try to diagnose like other hygienists I’ve seen. Dr. Chavin was extremely thorough in his exam. I really appreciated him pulling up pictures of my teeth on the TV in the room and showing me the problem. It made me trust and feel comfortable that he wasn’t pushing unnecessary work. Overall I had a really great experience!

Dr. Chavin and his team are all incredibly kind, patient, and caring. He has a wonderful way of helping our young kids feel comfortable and cooperative during their exams - truly better with children than any pediatric dentist we’ve seen! We’re so grateful to have found a practice that provides excellent dental care for our whole family.

I can’t say enough good things about Dr Gelman. He is kind, knowledgeable, and patient. He takes the time to explain everything clearly, answer all my questions, and never makes me feel rushed. It’s clear he genuinely care about his patients’ well-being. The staff is warm, welcoming and kind at every visit. Highly recommend !

If this review was just based upon Endodontist McCall and her assistant they were just wonderful and very respectful! However, the receptionist that checked me in with long dark hair was very rude when asking how I heard about the office, gave me the impression I was in the wrong place, then had me wait almost forty minutes while she chatted with another employee and never told me when they would call me. The endodontist assistant came to get me.

Do not go here. We were given a price for dental work. Had the work done and we were then charged an additional $500 without explanation. Called and spoke to Jen 4 times to try and determine why we were charged so much. She could not explain it and said Min the office manager would call. Never heard from them, never received any explanation, never received a refund. Never going back!

Just started going November of 2025. Everyone is friendly, helpful and great at their jobs. I have had approx 5 apps and so far I am extremely happy with Old Orchard Smiles
