I brought a severely disabled family member to see Dr. DeGroot, and was gratified to see how sensitively and humanely he treated this man. I decided to make an appointment for myself and was also very satisfied by the thorough and sensitive evaluation. Often these days patients are treated very impersonally, but even though our time together was brief, it was a gratifying experience for both my famiily member and me.

I went to NorCal Dermatology to have laser hair removal done. They saw me a total of 9 times, coming to a total of $2,325. The service did not work AT ALL. I was told to keep coming. I decided to do some homework since I blindly trusted the physician. Turns out laser hair removal DOES NOT WORK ON REDHEADS, which I am. The Dr. Knew that and continued to take my money for a service she knew would not work. I called and left a message asking for a refund as it is not ethical practice. No return call, so here I am. I do not recommend issuing a physician who is not ethical

Dr. Truong and Dr. DeGroot are absolute gems in the field of dermatology and cosmetic dermatology. They made sure I was informed and comfortable throughout the entire process. The results were better than I could have imagined! Their expertise and caring approach made my experience wonderful. From consultation to procedure, everything was top-notch. My skin looks amazing—I highly recommend them for anyone in need of a dermatologist.

So so happy with my experience at and results from NorCal Dermatology! I dealt with horrible eczema on my face and in my ears, had a bad experience with a derm in Sacramento resulting in long term topical steroid withdrawal then ringworm on my face for years. It was itchy, painful, and I was afraid to go back to a derm. One visit with Dr. DeGroot and about 3 weeks of treatment cleared my skin completely and has remained great for nearly 3 months so far. Clear skin gave me my confidence back, thank you!
