Minnesota State Community and Technical College (M State) Moorhead

I graduated this Spring. I wanted to give a shout out to all those who work on this campus. Everytime I went in, I got exceptional customer service. The student help center was always welcoming and happy to help with what I needed. The book store was always well stocked and staffed. And the workers in the library were super helpful when I needed to print things! Definitely would recommend them!

I recently enrolled and competed the Local Anesthetic course for the Dental assistant , and was very satisfied. All of the instructors Robin, Syd, and Crystal were phenomenal. They are all very helpful, understanding, and patient. I would highly recommend choosing MState for this course or any dental program!

This is an amazing college. A college of diversity to the extent I call it "the home of global citizens" They have experienced and supportive instructors. Students are friendly and the college has various programs that open doors for students to get high paying jobs when done with school.

I don't understand the negative reviews about this school. It's been terrific so far, minus one teacher, but that could be just my perspective on the excessive reading for three weeks of class and then an exam. If I email or post about a problem, I get a fast response. I'm an online student who will be on campus this fall. I'll make sure to update you later if the POV changes. I am a biology major and plan to attend college overseas.

Having gone for 4 semesters now, I'd rate it pretty well. For context, my grades in high-school were really bad due to covid and lack of effort on my part, so Mstate was the only local college to accept me, and served as a clean slate to do better. Being a biology major, I was concerned that I wouldn't have many good classes, but there was quite a good variety of biology related courses that I enjoyed. Most of the teachers are pretty chill and willing to work with you about making up/missing assignments, special shoutout to Mr. Grubb for that and having engaging classes. Also tuition is comparatively quite cheap, and nearly free with the North Star Promise. Depending on your point of view this could a positive or negative thing, but things are rather small.. Most classes don't exceed more than 20 people, clubs are small, school events are small, etc.. generally I prefer the intimacy that brings but there are sometimes I'm envious of the things the larger colleges and universities give you access to. For negatives, the food isn't very good and overpriced, I only go the Cafe when they have deals. Some of the classes are quite tough and you will hate having to go to class, but as I understand it that's more of a general college thing and not a problem specific to Mstate. It's not perfect by any means, but overall I'd recommend it

Super great dental clinic staff and students.

Incredible faculty, amazing teaching, and solid infrastructure of tools and recourses. Always a kind smile from someone on campus. If it is your professor, a student, our student assistance.
