Can't be more happy with this salon. The staff was very professional, helpful, attentive and efficient. They answered all my questions over email very fast, and in person. They were very honest with the products I can use on my hair, in other salons they make u buy their products, this salon doesn't. I got my bangs cut, trim and a Japanese straightening. They did all perfect. Also, they are so clean, they use clean towels with you, never use the same towel twice. They really give you a very high quality service. Will come back again.

Simply awful. I paid $350 for a haircut and perm, which only lasted for like two days. My hair went immediately back to completely straight. Also, the haircut is very sloppy. She is a nice person, but clearly not experienced AT ALL.

Terrible. Do NOT go. She is not experienced, she charged me $300 for a 1 inch cut and black hair dye (no style). It’s expensive but overall not an enjoyable feeling. While I sat in her chair I just wanted to cry because she was roughy with my hair and rushed through it. I feel scammed and disappointed. I would have tipped generously either way but it was a terrible mistake to go there in the first place.

She's quite skillful and quick, but be mindful that her cancellation policy is very strict. If you miss your appointment for ANY reason, she'll charge for the amount equal to the service you request. I missed my appointment due to emergency at work, and was charged $350.

Had a wonderful time! Felt like stepping into a shop in a Japanese suburb, was very cozy and almost Ghibli-like. I have thick voluminous Asian hair and typically only get my hair cut in Japan, but with COVID I am grounded and am so happy to have found a great alternative. If you’re looking to get your haircut by a passionate professional rather than someone at a chain salon, I’d highly recommend.

Mie is very skilled with many years of experience. I can tell from the way she washes my hair and meticulously cut & perm my hair. I recommend air wave perm, but she does digital perm & regular perm as well. My perm lasts for a really long time about 6 months, but it depends on your type of hair. I have thin & fine hair. Mie manage to make it look full, lush, bouncy. I always trust her with coloring as well. All of her hair products & equipments are from Japan. My mom who is very picky, also likes her haircut & perm here. I highly recommend Mie Salon to everyone.

Great hair stylist who knows how to handle Asian hair. If you've ever been burned by stylists who mishandled your Asian hair, you need to check her out. She also did an amazing job on doing my wedding hair based on a complicated photo.
