Mel's Skinspa Ink

I saw Mel for a facial for my very dry skin. She is so warm and friendly and passionate about what she does. She recommended a hydrating facial, and she also encouraged me to clean up my diet. I am dark-skinned and wanted to know if she had any treatment for my extra dark knees and toes. She did a peel and I noticed an improvement in the coloration on my toes. I plan to do more peels to keep lightening those areas. I trust Mel to help me with my skincare needs and she goes above and beyond to offer solutions.

I was dealing with acne, hyperpigmentation, and an uneven skin tone on my face. I initially visited a dermatologist who recommended a salicylic acid peel. However, after the treatment, my skin didn't peel at all. That's when I decided to look for someone well-reviewed nearby and came across Mel's Skin Spa. I booked an appointment with her. Although the place was a little difficult to find, she guided me over the phone until I reached her location. She is very friendly and made me feel like she had known me for a long time. When I told her about my ongoing skin issues, she kindly offered me a free upgrade. During our session, I was impressed by how knowledgeable Mel is. She's not just a skincare professional, she's a true researcher who dives deep into multiple areas like gut health, nutrition, and even topics like structural architecture, computer science and programming. Her wide range of interests and curiosity clearly show how intelligent and passionate she is. It's evident that she applies all this knowledge to her work, which makes her approach to skincare unique and highly effective. One thing I really appreciated is that she's definitely not money-minded like some other providers in the area. She genuinely loves what she does and focuses on helping her clients rather than just making a sale. I've already booked two more sessions and asked her to help me with my skin concerns, she gladly agreed. I'm so glad I found Mel, truly a hidden gem in the OC area!

I was very disappointed to see this business/individual making negative comments about immigrants. It’s unprofessional, discriminatory, and not the kind of attitude I want to support. Businesses should be inclusive and respectful, not spreading harmful rhetoric. I will not be supporting them and encourage others to think twice before doing so.

Mel's positive energy and attentiveness, and connecting well with people along with her professionalism in what she does are a few of the reasons I am still coming after 2 and a half years. The signature and plasma facials have helped keep my face younger looking without taking more drastic measures.

I love Mel’s Skinspa! My face has drastically changed with only 2 sessions . I’m impressed and will make this my home for facials . Mel is very kind and inviting , she makes you feel at home, and knows all things skin . It’s super affordable as well ! I highly recommended, especially if you are darker skinned , she understands how to treat your skin without damaging or scaring it !
