I’ve been going to Meedo Hair Salon for a long time, and I always have a great experience. Hewan (Eve) is amazing — very gentle, professional, and truly knowledgeable when it comes to hair care. I have super curly hair, and she really knows how to deal with it in a healthy way. She always makes sure my hair looks beautiful without burning it or being too harsh. My hair always feels healthy, soft, and well taken care of. Over the years, I’ve done trims, flat iron, protein treatments, braids, and even a Brazilian blowout with her. Most of the time, I go for a trim, flat iron, and protein treatment, and I always love the results. She uses great products and really cares about keeping hair healthy. I always leave feeling confident and happy. Highly recommend Hewan (Eve) and Meedo Hair Salon.

Johnese did my twists and I was very happy with the service as well as the final result. She was friendly and efficient. Reasonably priced as well.

Word that comes to mind is WOW! I called in the morning because I had just come here for vacation and my extension had begun to come out on one side! The very nice lady I spoke to on the phone said absolutely come right in. I was completely baffled! When I came to the salon they were able to see me right away and were so kind. They fixed me up right away like a NASCAR pit crew and had my hair looking and feeling amazing in no time! I HIGHLY recommend Meedo hair salon! 10/10!!

I am very busy and usually do my own hair but wanted to treat myself the day before my birthday. I am new to the area and found her salon online and saw that it had decent reviews which is why I am leaving this review. Before I arrived to the salon, I sent her pictures and a video of hair inspiration for my sew in. The video I sent also detailed a low tension method.. The customer service was lacking from the start. It is a small salon and unisex so FYI if you are unaware. The owner did my hair and she reports over 20 years of being a professional but lacks professionalism. When I arrived I was not greeted warmly and barely acknowledged. The customer service was lacking from the start. I sat down and waited because she had someone in the chair. I did arrive approximately 10 mins after the start of my appointment time but I notified her I was running behind. I was actually blow drying my hair before my appointment. Washing and blow drying are not included in the sew in service. She also told me she was behind which was fine. I waited until she was ready for me. She asked me a few questions about my hair and some areas that had damage. She went to put some products in my hair however, I am very sensitive to new products and have allergies and reactions to certain ingredients. I asked her several times throughout out visits what she was using and doing to my hair because of my allergies and just had hair questions in general and she was very short with me regarding this. I also asked her how to maintain the curls after she styled my hair and her actions just made it seem like it was a burden to ask her that. She showed me I could pin curl or use flexi rods. I just asked her general questions about how she did the sew in because I actually haven't had on in over 10 years. I blow dried my hair and placed it in twists before arriving from the appointment. She unraveled the twists from the root to the ends, removing them very quickly. She also said I put to much oil on and she took a regular looking towel and rubbed the oil off my hair.. I am a fine haired natural ... She braided my hair so tight and sewed the extensions in so tight that I actually texted her the next morning to take loosen it or take it down. I could not sleep that entire not and took pain pills the entire night. I just recovered my hair to the health I wanted it to be at and I was so afraid that I would get traction alopecia and breakage. She offered to take out a few threads but said it might not last. I also had my birthday and plans the next day so I kept it in. At the end of my first visit I paid her in cash counted in front of her and she recounted the money and I booked a follow up appointment. There aren’t many black stylists in the area and it was our first meeting so I did book another session with her for sew maintenance. I gave her the benefit of a doubt. Maybe she was having an off day. That was my mistake because it so much deeper than an off day. The unprofessionalism and shortness was deeply rooted. Before I arrived to my second visit I told her that I had a flight in LAX and some errands to run that that day and asked her what the estimated time was for the appointment. She said it depends on how long your hair takes to dry.. ok… I also offered to come in earlier.. no reply I paid her for my visit before I arrived as well. During my second visit, the salon was packed because it is pretty small. Someone was sitting in her chair during my appointment time but I waited patiently at the shampoo bowl. She didn’t really explain anything. Didn’t apologize, just expected me to accept that treatment.

I had a wonderful experience at Meedo. The owner, Eve, was very nice and friendly. I am in Cali from out of state so I didn't have a clue where to go to get my hair done. I happened to find her salon on a Google search. Eve got me in the next day even though it was on the 4th of July holiday. She did my relaxer and color touch-up, dried and styled my hair in less than 2 hours! I've never had a hairdresser get me done that fast because I have a lot of hair. It didn't feel rushed at all though. My hair turned out great. She did a wonderful job. I highly recommend Eve and her salon Meedo.

I took my daughter in last weekend to get her hair relaxed and straightened. Eve did an amazing job on my preteen, she came out with a smile and loves her hair outcome. My daughter's hair is very difficult to manage (about 4C hair type) and Eve did wonders on her hair. My daughter and I are happy with the results. I'm glad I found a new hair salon for my kiddo.

I Got a partial weave done by Eve, it was more than I expected, my hair is absolutely beautiful, her braiding techniques, her weaving, her professionalism, her kindness, and her knowledge of natural hair care is absolutely amazing. I look forward to going back to her. Also her pricing is Affordable, I didn't feel taken advantage of in any way..
