Kuk Sool Won

My teen daughter and I started Kuk Sool Won here a few months ago and have enjoyed every class. She has never wanted to participate in sports or exercise even. But we found this and we both love it. Every class is a work out , but also teaches respect, perseverance, and self discipline. The teachers are the absolute best!

The grandbabies came here! I’m only a mother, not a grandmother but the grandbabies of my mother came here. They are very polite and teach them good things! ☺️ I am very proud of Kuk Sool Won.

My daughter and I have been attending for about 6 months now. We enjoy it. Classes cover a variety of things. Forms, takedown techniques, kicks/strikes/falls, and even a bit of weapons. We never know what a class if going to focus on. So that keeps it interesting. They have three different classes; kids, beginner adult, and advanced adult. They get a lot of kids. We attend the adult classes. It's grown to ~25 students now. Families are a big part of the program(4 of 4, 3/4, 2/4, 2/?). They have a variety of ages and fitness levels. Everyone is encouraging and instructors are quick to point out student successes.

Kuk Sool Won of San Marcos has excellent instructors and students. Eric is a master of the art; his skill shows through his own training and his students, which is the mark of a great teacher. San Marcos values etiquette and respect above all else, which is a rarity today. If you are looking for a martial arts school that benefits your whole family, emphasizes the core tenants of martial arts training, and is run by world-class instructors... look no further!

Wow. the knowledge of the instructors is amazing. I never knew that karate could be so in depth. I mean really in depth. Self defense, pressure point, proper way to kick and punch without hurting your body, and most of all joint locking. I am having a blast. The age groups were across the board too from children to young adults to 60 and 70 year olds. Wow.

Eric is great with my daughter. His knowledge of Kuk Sool and related subjects is masterful. Gotta say this place has it going on!

A true mind body connection practice! It’s changed my life! Excellent staff, clean and welcoming falcility! Better than a gym, more effiecent than any other physical activity I’ve tried! I challenge you to challenge yourself!
