Genesis Health Clubs - Midtown Tulsa

I love this gym! This gym has a great atmosphere and enthusiastic staff. A wide variety of machines and a killer smoothie bar! When I come to Genesis I feel motivated and excited to get my work out in. If you are considering checking it out, you definitely should!

I’ve been attending Genesis now for about 6 months and I am loving it! The staff is super super friendly, everything is always so clean, and they have all the equipment you could possible need! All of their spin instructors are amazing as well! Couldn’t recommend enough!

Great place to work out. Quality machines, both wet and dry saunas, and fresh towel service. The vibe is friendly and relaxed. I signed up with Josh and he made the whole process easy. He listens, explains everything clearly, and never pressures you. When you go in, he’s your go to guy.

Somewhat liked this gym for a long time until I had to cancel my membership due to a temporary work move out of state-- I called to cancel and the receptionist told me I had to come into the store to cancel, as I was unable because I'm not in town, she said she would have a manager call me back. The manager never called, so I called back the next day to speak with him. Even though I cancelled before the 11th of the month as my contract stated, I still got charged $65 for the following month. Which I brushed off because a lot of gyms do that. I just received another charge for 2 months in a row after I had cancelled for another $65. It seems to be impossible to cancel and it's super frustrating since I haven't been there for a total of 3 months now but have been charged $195 for a membership I'm not able to use Just to note their equipment is not up to date, and the tanning beds were broken for most of my membership. Definitely better gyms in Tulsa.

I love Genesis. I've never been comfortable in a gym. Fir me it's a very intimidating place. That has changed since coming to Genesis. The staff are always friendly and welcoming. The trainers are very knowledgeable and have made me more comfortable using the equipment. I'm achieving my fitness goals!

I am leaving 1 star because I inquired about this place once… about 5 years ago. I’m constantly harassed now. I get promotional texts from them in spite of blocking, reporting, reply STOP… I called and asked to be taken off of the mailing list…. Texted, emailed… No use. Get rid of my data and i’ll delete my review 🤷🏼‍♀️ I also saw another review that said they are giving free smoothies if you leave 5 stars, which is not appropriate imo. Also even if you pay your membership but don’t show up for a month or so (say you’re recovering from an injury), they clean out your locker and throw out your belongings and don’t reimburse you. I have had friends experience this first hand from Genesis.

Great gym! Andrea in the front desk is the best. Always welcome me with a smile ☺️
