Seven Joy Spa

This was a very disappointing experience. Far from relaxing, painful, & I left with damaged hair. Went for the head spa service with a friend and we both had the same experience with different people. We basically paid for an hour long aggressive hair wash. The head "massage" consisted mainly of scalp scratching. I would stay far away from this place especially if you have curly hair. They have no knowledge on how to treat curly hair. My hair was so knotted and the woman began breaking my knots apart with her fingers. I could audibly hear my hair breaking. They were talking throughout the service not allowing you to even try to relax. When they turned on the gold ring sprinkler, it smelled so bad. Smelled like rotting water. They do give you a brief body massage. However it is a painful DRY massage over a towel. I was in agony, truly. No lotion or oil. I woke up in pain which made me write this review. They also claim to "dry" your hair. I would never let a customer walk out looking how they let me walk out. My hair is so damaged. I regret trying this place. Photo for reference.

I had an amazing head treatment, very relaxing the music was soothing and the setting quiet. Very nice atmosphere and the lady was so patient and attentive while massaging my back and legs because i had really tight muscles and I think $10.00 for the blowout is actually cheap cause i came from NYC and this type of treatment is way more expensive and blowouts are 45-50 dlrs so definitely worth it! My mom got the foot massage and she said was the best she ever had! Really amazing! would definitely come back!

Seven Joy Spa has completely redeemed itself, and I’m updating my review to five stars after my most recent visit. The atmosphere here has always been beautiful soft lighting, thoughtful décor, and a calming energy that makes you relax the moment you walk in. That part never changed, and it’s still one of the strongest things about this spa. The big difference this time was the service. I came back for a full-body massage, and the therapist I had today was exceptional. Professional, consistent, and genuinely skilled. From start to finish, the massage was relaxing, balanced, and exactly what a great session should feel like. No rushing, no awkward transitions just pure quality. This was a completely different experience from my first visit, in the best possible way. What impressed me most is how clear it is that this spa can deliver top-tier service when the right therapist is working with you. Today’s visit showed the true potential of this place, and I’m glad I gave it another chance. The combination of a beautiful setup and a truly talented therapist made this session outstanding. Seven Joy Spa earned this five-star update. I’ll definitely be returning, and now I feel confident recommending them to others looking for a great massage experience.

Spacious and clean spa. They offer different kind of massages, full body, foot, head scalp and others. Good service and relaxing atmosphere. I brought my friends there and they enjoyed it so much and keep going back. I love that they open until 12am so I can always go late even when I’m stressed and got late from work.

This was the worst and painful massage I ever had, even after clearly verbalizing that I did not like the pressure, the masseuse did not adjust. It felt like intense rug burn, so aggressive and it was extremely painful. Now I'm left with more pain than I walked in with and bruises all over. Disappointed that the owner stated it's due to "toxins escaping my body" because that just shows how ill-knowledge and uneducated they are in massaging, positioning, handling. Bruising is caused by blood capillary damage from pressure, not detoxification (lol). The body detoxifies through the GI system and organs like lungs and kidneys.... and it doesn't show up as "bruises" on the shoulder bone but ok.

I got a massage here and worst decision ever. My masseuse the entire time dug into me with her fingers and elbows. It felt more like a surgery than massage. I left here in more pain than I came in with. I left this place with bruises. And not to mention she got an attitude with me when I asked her to use less pressure. Never coming here.

Me and my boyfriend went for the head scalp massage, and then added on the foot reflexology. The only enjoyable part was the massage on my feet. The scalp massage was terrible, the pressure was way too hard, and I left with bruises on my arms from where the woman was hitting me as part of a massage, which fine everyone has different pressure when massaging. I could get past that. However what really set me off was that the man behind the counter asked me to leave more of a tip when I left each of the workers who helped us 5 dollars, because it was not an enjoyable experience for us. And then he had the audacity to ask for more again after I handed him another ten dollars. We definitely will not be coming back here.
