Shun Kang Massage

02/23/2025: Called to make an appointment and priced check for a 1-hour massage for 2 about $86pp with tax and tip. The massage itself was okay, I guess. Easy to find the location. Person who answered the door was polite. We got undressed and picked our table and covered ourselves with the sheet provided, as the session started one of the massage people asked about pressure and the other massage person did not. It seems that they didn't understand English as much, which by means is no issue, but the language barrier was harder to communicate our needs even if it were just pressure for the massage, if you speak Mandarin you'll have an easier time. I suggest translating your needs earlier and having them read your phone. Majority of the session was covered with the "table" sheet and rubbed down I would say 85% of the time. Massage oil was quite minimal, no specific arm work or neck, primarily back and a little bit of legs. Hot towel was used to get rid of the oil. My partner's massage person did not understand more pressure, so she grabbed her phone to translate even with words like "stronger" etc. Prior this part of the issue was, the door bell rang. Our therapist stepped out to grab it, chatted with said customer for a bit and asked the potential customer to either come back or leave, which in the end that person stayed and the therapist came back in, but even more so my partner's massage ended earlier than mine and my massage person was still working on me. Luckily we were visiting from out of town, I don't personally think we would return. It was okay at best.

I’m from CA and was here for Business Meeting. My husband and I take our super star out for a treat before we leave to go home. It was the last minute decision since many other places are not available for the number of people; we decided to try it out. After looking at the Photos in the website, it looks nice and clean but we get there, the place looks dirty and unprofessional. I still think to just go for it since I’ve already set the appointment been there. The price per person for the hour was a lot higher than what I normally paid for better locations and much cleaner, and nicer. The two girls that does massages for us are not professional. My massage lady leave me in the middle of my massage to talk to some outside of the massage room for a good 5 minutes. The massage last about 50 minutes and she take 5 minutes break in between so I decided to give them $20 tip for the 4 of us, but they demanded for $10 tip person. I went ahead just gave them the additional $20 because I don’t want to get into any argument since today is also my birthday. I will never come back and will not recommend anyone to go use Shun Kang Massage. I don’t mind pay high price and would give good tip for good massage but this place doesn’t deserve good tip especially when the price was already high, take a break between and short the 60 minute to 50 minutes. I end up paying $70 +10tip - $80 for 45 minutes of low class massage. They also demanded for a set amount for tip, tip should be base on good service not by demanding it on a bad service. Horrible Experience

Booked a last minute couples massage. The price was right, the hours are great and both massages were amazing. We will definitely be back!

I have gone on business trips a few times, and I feel that their massage is very professional, the time is also correct. I have no special requirements, they have not asked me for a tip. I like it here and will definitely go again.

Received a massage on 3/27/2023. Booked a 60 minute couple's massage but when we arrived they said they only had one massage therapist for us so that they could offer us "each 30 minutes instead for $50" - given that we were initially supposed to pay $65 each for the 60 min massage, I assumed they were offering $50 total for the 30 mins given that they had not been prepared and were giving us half the time than what we booked for (to accommodate for THEIR mishap). Turns out they were charging us $50 each, even though one of us just had to lay on the massage table for 30 minutes waiting for the other one. It was so awkward. Not to mention, the masseuse answered 3 phone calls throughout the duration of our massages!! She also left the room 1-2 times. The masseuses would talk to each other over the walls, you could hear the front desk guy talking (even though he wasn't answering the phones? which you would think he would instead of having the women giving the massages answer them?!) and you could hear others receiving their massage. So loud. We left this massage more stressed than we came in, and on my birthday no less. Also we had to pay in cash so we lost $100 on a terrible experience with no refund. I was shocked by how poor this experience was given the high reviews online - totally misleading.
