I recently visited the JCC in Saint Louis, MO, and my experience was quite disappointing. 1. Dirty Facilities: The men’s locker room was in terrible condition—it looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in quite some time. The showers were not well-maintained, and there was no towel service available. 2. Broken Amenities: The sauna and steam room were both out of order and smelled terribly. The hot tub was almost black with scum and the water was filthy. When I notified the staff about this, I was met with an indifferent response. They simply said, "Oh, well, we are closing soon," despite it being only 4:45 PM and the facility closing at 6 PM (on the weekend). 3. Unpleasant Staff: Unfortunately, the staff were not very friendly. I witnessed some staff members also being rude to other members, which added to the overall negative experience. Overall, the poor condition of the facilities and the lack of customer service make this a place I wouldn’t recommend. It’s clear that management needs to address these issues to improve the experience for members. Save your time and money this place isn’t worth it.

The J brings that balance between fitness and community a space where you can work on your body and clear your mind at the same time. The setup is solid, the staff stays respectful, and the atmosphere’s consistent calm but motivated. The only reason it’s not a 5 is small things timing, space flow, and sometimes crowd energy. But overall, it’s a place where growth happens if you stay focused on your purpose. Louie K’s Up I don’t just train for strength, I train for peace. 💪🏾🔥🧘🏾‍♂️

I spend too much time here! To be honest, there's so much to do here. There's a swimming pool, a gym, a treadmill, basketball courts, a climbing wall, group classes, and more. You can even rent bikes for free!

This is an amazing center. State of the art. Everything you meed physically. Only gave four stars. Because of girl selling memberships was being snarky or rude at times. Thenthat could have been my imagination. Maybe not.

DO NOT SEND YOUR KIDS HERE FOR SUMMER CAMP. My 8 year old tried their summer camp program, it is terrible. - They don't have enough counselors for the kids. - They charge $300+/kid for the week, the Y charges $75/kid and is MUCH better organized. - They often leave the pool area without all the kids in the group. My 8 year old was left in the pool area without supervison or an adult, they went to the locker room to change and didnt do a headcount. - Kids at the J ask other kids for money to buy snack, a 11 year old strong arming 8 year olds for lunch money seems wholesome. - Very unorganized and unprofessional staff. Don't trust these people with your kids.

This is a beautiful facility and I wish I lived closer and could take advantage of it! I attended a book tour/signing held in the gymnasium, but had the opportunity to walk through the gym as well. It's clean, well maintained, and has tons and tons of workout equipment of all kinds - the most well-appointed gym I have ever visited.

I’ve been going to The Wellbridge for awhile. In comparison I’d have to say Wellbridge has better equipment. But this is one of the nicest men’s health club locker room/ spas I’ve been to. Especially in the STL area. Great spot.
