My wife and I went here for the first time. We loved the atmosphere. It could use some sound bath music as I feel that's pretty universal for all who enjoy different types of healing and meditation. The hot to cold with cold plunge is great, and they have clocks in enough spots to help you out. They provide shower availability along with blow dryers and combs in case you want a full shower before leaving. The Saunas are good. The steam sauna is more of a dry sauna. The lady comes in every 30 minutes (ish) to use a spray bottle to add water, so it's really more of a dry heat. I prefer more of a steam, but that's getting quite nit-picky. The member ship is a good deal if you think you will go at least 2 times a month. Overall, great experience and we will be returning.
I have been coming here for about a year, and this place is amazing! It is soothing and truly a sanctuary (sometimes)! So, why only 2 stars? Because sometimes patrons are talking so freaking loud, like it is spa party or something, even though the "rules" of the place say to only speak in a whisper because it is a sanctuary. So how is this Sanctuary's fault? Because employees don't tell loud patrons to follow the rules. Patrons have to tell other patrons to be quiet and just whisper. I have done this and have watched others do this several times... I have told the employees about the problems, emailed the owners, and have watched others tell the employees. The employees are awesome otherwise!
My photos don’t do this place justice. It’s beautiful. This has to be one of my favorite soaking sauna spas I’ve been to. My favorite things. Love that the pool doesn’t smell at all. A lot of other salt water tubs I’ve been in still have a mild coloring smell not this one. I also love the big circle feels so spacious. The cold plunge is absolutely frigid which I also love. So therapeutic. The saunas are awesome I love the hot one is very nice and hot while the infrared is warm and cozy. The ambiance is perfect low light where you need it to be and bright also where you need it to be. The locker rooms and showers are fun also very beautiful and they provide. Towel, hair ties, a lock for the locker, combs and hair dries. They have berky water. We were visiting family for the holiday and they have a killer pass for two weeks and we’ve gone everyday that they were closed. The staff has also been very awesome. We can’t wait to come back next year.
Sanctuary has become a staple in our routine during the cold months in Spokane. The saunas and hot tub are inviting and soothing, and the facility overall is well-maintained and welcoming. And the icing on the cake of each Sanctuary experience is the warm, genuine greeting we get from Anita in the mornings when we walk through the doors! She gives Sanctuary that true Cheers vibe: a place where Anita knows your name, and you're always glad you came.
I used to love this place but at this point I feel that I am wasting my money expecting a quiet, safe experience. There is zero enforcement of keeping the space quiet and technology free... and that's honestly what attracted me to the space in the first place. Very saddened, but I think I'm moving on from this business.
First time trying this place and im so glad I did day pass and didn't buy the monthly subscription, yes the place is nice but it has a huge turn off, they add CHLORINE to the pools, they promot healthy benefits of using the place but soaking in chemicals is a big turn off, even after i showered I could smell it on me all night, disgusting. Will not be going back unless they stop using chlorine.
We were warmly greeted and given a tour of the very clean and beautiful facility. The water was sparkling clean, the saunas were hot, ambience was perfect. I attended with three friends and had the most lovely time relaxing, chatting and connecting. I can’t wait to go back!
