I didn’t have a good time this time. Had a massage about an hour ago and the masseuse was pretty rough and fast toward the end of the 90 minute session..I’m not sure the name..but have been here many times and it was always fine..I’m not sure I will go back now
Great experience Wendy was very nice and did her best to help with my pain. Very sweet pleasant hard working lady
I go out of my way to get a massage here. The price can't be beat and I love knowing that I consistently get a solid massage here. Sometimes you don't know who you're going to get when you come to a place like this, but I've never been disappointed by any of the massages I've gotten here... although I think Tony is particularly genius at bodywork. Thanks for the consistent, reliable experience and solid customer service.
Terrible place … they are all speaking in their language and giggling throughout and in some areas they hurt you and others just press hard. They also want a 10.00 dollar tip. And nobody speaks English. Not going back . Ughhh
Second Update: I decided to take another visit to this place recently and was pleasantly surprised. The price of $35 plus $10 mandatory tip, did mot increase as the male receptionist had told it was. So, that was good. The service area is about the same. It is a comfortable setting, even if it is not private. They do have two private areas, but that was not a big deal for me. I was given service by Mary, who is a very professional and nice lady. She was extremely thorough and has strong hands. I was very pleased with her timing and attention to my areas that needed more attention. I strongly recommend this place, as the $45 total amount is a very fair amount for the session. Update: This place used to be a fun place to go - the very best deal in town! It wasn’t long ago that they’d advertise in the community books and provide coupons that would provide a 60-minute massage for $20 and you could tip whatever you believed to be fair. All-in it was a fair deal for $30. But lately the place seems to be getting old and used looking the masseuses, who are no longer incentivized by their tips, seem much less friendly and the guy up front is opposite of what a customer-oriented guy should be. They totally stop advertising, and now make a $10 tip mandatory, then they raised their basic rate to $35 with no coupons and a $10 mandatory tip for $45 - all in, which is a 50% increase for the worst service - performed by a grumpy staff. Then the grumpy cashier says they are now going to be raising their base rates to $40 on Jan 1st, with no coupons and a $10 mandatory tip. This is $50 all in, which is a 66% increase for a much more gloomy experience. Unfortunately for the owner, the empty chairs are increasing each time I visit. — So this is a hit and miss place. It does depend on who you get as a masseuse. Most of the women are fairly okay hand-strength-wise, but they have some older and meek masseuses on staff so beware of "The Chinese Foot Rub" rather than "Massage". On the other hand there is Paul! Holy crap this guy doesn’t look like a mean, bionic strengthed, angry man; but he is. I mean I pride myself on being a fairly tough guy, I was a middle linebacker for God’s sake, but Paul will take care of that pride issue in a matter of seconds. His hands are punishing, but his elbows are lethal weapons. I literally almost passed-out twice with his constant seeking the Guinness Book of World Records, deepest tissue-massage on the planet; while me being his Guinea pig and subject. I think I tapped-out four times, but Paul was too busy digging to notice - all but one. And even then he only backed off for about 30 seconds - max. About half way through I was trying to hypnotize myself into believing that, this wasn’t a dream and that this doesn’t really hurt, and even if it does I will feel fantastic, afterwards. Wrong! Two days later, and I am still recovering - aching in multiple parts of my body. The funny thing is, I could’ve stopped this nonsense at any time, but that pride got in the way. And I think this is how Paul gets his revenge on society; one victim at a time. So… would I go back to Paul? Yes, but not until I let him know that I clearly have a very low pain tolerance compared to his normal victims. One more thing, this place used to charge $20 (with coupon) plus tip) typically $5, for a total of $25. Great deal. However, they recently stopped taking the coupons, raised the rate to $30, and made the minimum tip $10, for a new total of $40. A 60% increase!!
I don’t usually give reviews but I had to give this one. The last time I went the massage was so good and relaxing that I nearly feel asleep 3 times. This time was a whole different experience. About one-third of the time the massage was enjoyable. The other two-thirds, I was constantly asking to go softer which is unusually for me as I like firm massages but the way the massage was given was very painful. When I asked them to go softer(when I actually meant do better), I can tell they got upset and the quality of the massage went down the drain and was still hurting me throughout the massage. Oh and get this, they went to the restroom mid-massage, which is fine, I get it, but when I heard them flush the toilet, the bathroom door was immediately opened and returns to continue the massage. I will give them the benefit of the doubt that they did wash their hands. They then proceed to give me a foot massage and is literally scratching my toes which felt very uncomfortable and painful. I kept pulling away and asking to not do that. Worst and most painful foot massage of my entire life. Last but not least, although they were wearing a mask, towards the end of the massage, they coughed towards the back of my head (literally inches away) which I felt was intentional. I will never going back here again. I feel assaulted and disgusted. Update: I’ve had a terrible headache all day from the head massage I was given where it felt like they were trying to break my skull and rip out all my hair out. The next morning I wake up to find a bruise on my forehead (see picture). This is cruel and unusual. Now I have to go into the office with this hematoma on my forehead and will probably get questioned by clients, coworkers and management. This is cruel and embarrassing. Update: The cherry on top was that they gave me ring worm on my scalp.
This place is horrible. I brought my daughter here not realizing that there are no rooms. My person that was taking care of me smelled like cigarettes and didn’t listen to when I said it was too hard. My daughter’s person was extremely rough. When we were done and went to pay I had to pay a gratuity even though I didn’t want to. We left there in absolute pain and the next few days we had bruises from the massage. My opinion never go here.
