What was supposed to be a fun birthday surprise was definitely chaos. I definitely will not be returning or recommending this Spa. The person who did my facial did not ask my name or verify if I am using retinoids or prescriptions. This is a safety issue. She realized 10 minutes into my treatment she had the wrong client. The next service was a massage and while waiting in the lounge area, I got the pleasure of hearing 4 different therapist coming in and out of a back room and fussing amongst each other about who had which room, how busy there were and which client was going where. Definitely not relaxing. After the massage, I learned they are not able to remove gel. One therapist said because they don’t know what kind is on my toes and the other said because they are not equipped. The person who did my manicure works 4 hours a week there and doesn’t have the skill to do gel on my nails is what she told me. Also if they can not render a service such as my pedicure because it is part of a package, they will take your money and tell you too bad. They offered to paint over my existing 5 week old gel polish and then called my husband as he purchased this as a gift for my birthday. Neither of us are sure why since he wasn’t the client. The owner John did call same day and he got a much different story from his staff. He claims they didn’t have my intake form that Michelle at the front desk (who is not friendly) had me complete and that is how they got the clients mixed up. I found that odd since i completed and submitted and got a thank you confirmation on their iPad.

I’ve been going to Colibri Day Spa for almost five years now, and I truly can’t say enough great things about this place. From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere is peaceful and welcoming a true escape from the everyday. I enjoy the spa music, and smell of essential oils. Lena is absolutely amazing. When I first started coming here, I struggled with cystic acne, and now my skin is clear and glowing. Her knowledge and care have completely transformed my skin, and I’m so grateful. The Rejuvenation Facial is my absolute favorite it leaves my skin feeling refreshed and radiant every time. Lately, I’ve also been loving the Diamond Microdermabrasion treatments. They leave my skin feeling incredibly clean and smooth. Colibri Day Spa is my go to for skincare and relaxation. If you’re looking for a top-tier day spa experience with real results, I highly recommend giving them a visit!

John who we booked our appt with and had to call because we were running behind due to traffic was so kind and nice. Then we had an amazing couples massage with Ousana and Helen for an hour!! It was so relaxing and well worth it!! I highly recommend this salon and spa!!

Friendly welcome when you first arrive. Calming environment all around. I walked in stressed and walked out super relaxed. Highly recommend!! I had the Colibri facial which included the entire back. That was really nice!!

Just want to share my experience at Colibri Day Spa. I had a relaxing and wonderful massage yesterday with Mark, who is a very experienced masseuse. He was very attentive to my concerns and was able to smooth out all the knots in my neck area. His approach was very professional and respectful. I slept so much better last night! Great experience at Colibri day spa!

This spa is wonderful! The services are extraordinary and the people are truly gifted and talented at what they do. From the moment I walked in the door Jessica at the front desk made me feel welcome and valued. She was patient with my needs and scheduling. I had Patty for massage and she was excellent and extremely responsive to my physical quirks. Lina did my pedicure and manicure and it was the best I have ever had. She was so kind and skilled and took extra effort to make my experience special. I will be headed back soon for a facial as well! The spa is a true gem in the heart of Sarasota. We are lucky to have it here!

I had my first microneedling facial today with Astrid at Colibri Day Spa, and I’m so glad I chose her! I’d never tried microneedling before, but she was incredibly reassuring and talked me through the process. Aside from the normal little bit of needle discomfort (totally expected!), the treatment was enjoyable and surprisingly relaxing. Astrid did an amazing job, and the spa itself is beautiful with such kind, welcoming staff. I’ll definitely be back!
