We really needed a massage after a long trip and as we were on the way to the airport, we found them randomly! It was one of the best massages we’ve ever had. A lot of therapists just go through the motions, but these people actually care about healing and making your body feel better. Plus, they are so sweet! Go see them! You will not be disappointed!
Go Spa was a found gem. I got the 60 minute massage but it was more than that. My male therapist focused on issues he found along the way. Communicating and working the areas of my body. I walked in tense. I walked out a new person, light, refreshed and relaxed. Pressure was just perfect and flow of massage and service was top notch. Unfortunately I found this place 3 hours before my flight but If I am ever in San Diego. For sure I will be back for a 90 minute session.
I booked a 60-minute deep tissue massage for 6pm. While I was in the room getting undressed, the male massage therapist knocked. I clearly said, "I’m not ready." Despite this, he opened the door anyway. I was standing there in my bra and underwear, grabbing my clothes to cover myself, and had to repeat multiple times that I was not ready before he finally closed the door. I even had to raise my voice to get him to stop. When the massage started, the pressure was immediately extreme. It was so forceful that at times I felt like I was choking from the way he pressed into my upper back and neck. I told him it was too much, and he responded only with "it’s okay, it’s okay," without adjusting the pressure. I became increasingly uncomfortable and was close to tears. At one point, when he was again applying intense pressure to my neck, I lifted my head and said "stop, you’re hurting me." Instead of stopping, he attempted to push my head back down onto the table. I got up. While I was standing there in only my underwear, covering myself with a blanket and crying, I repeatedly asked him to leave. He continued saying "it’s okay" and did not immediately exit. I had to insist multiple times before he finally left the room. I was only 30 minutes into what was supposed to be a 60-minute session. Afterward, another woman knocked and offered to finish the massage. I declined and explained what had happened. She attributed it to his limited English and told me not to cry. When I went to the front desk and explained what occurred, I was refunded $55 out of the $130 I paid. This experience was not just uncomfortable — it felt unsafe. A client saying "stop" should immediately end the session. A therapist should never open the door after being told not to, and physical boundaries should always be respected. I will not be returning.
I came to San Diego for my daughter’s coming-of-age ceremony and had about an hour drive. After sitting and driving for a long time, my lower back was really sore and achy. I’ve also been struggling with persistent pain in my scapula area for a while. A friend recommended this spa, so I decided to stop by and try it out. From the moment I walked in, the place felt calm, clean, and very relaxing. The space is nice and open, which immediately puts you at ease. The staff were incredibly attentive and made me feel I was in good hands right away. They really take the time to understand what your body needs. They suggested hot stones and cupping, and I went with a 1-hour deep tissue massage. Honestly, it was one of the best massages I’ve had. My back felt so much better afterward, and I left feeling refreshed and recharged. What I appreciated most was her holistic approach. She didn’t just treat the symptoms she also shared specific stretches and posture tips to help prevent the pain from coming back. That really showed how much she cares about her clients’ long-term well-being. You can tell they truly care about their clients and know what they’re doing. I’ll definitely come back next time I’m in San Diego. Highly recommend if you’re looking for real relief and a quality massage experience!
Driving to San Diego was exhausting, and I really needed a place to relax — and I found it here! I got a 60-minute deep tissue massage with hot stones (can’t remember the therapist’s name, but her technique was amazing!). She worked out all my knots — I feel incredible! I will be back another soon !!
cannot recommend this establishment and have serious concerns regarding the qualifications, judgment, and professionalism of the staff. The experience demonstrated a lack of anatomical understanding and disregard for client consent. I clearly explained multiple times that my concern was forceful traction and yanking on my wrist, not massage pressure. The therapist dismissed this distinction by claiming it was a pressure point, which does not address the actual issue and does not justify aggressive manipulation of a joint. The conduct continued despite repeated requests to stop. The therapist then displayed an emotional outburst including stomping his feet during the session. This occurred during a couples massage in the presence of my husband and was inappropriate and alarming. The second therapist attempted to rationalize this behavior by blaming herself for asking him to slow down, rather than addressing the unprofessional conduct. A therapeutic environment must prioritize client safety informed consent and emotional control. The demand for full payment upfront further raises concerns about the integrity and accountability of the business. The actions observed may expose both the practitioner and the business to regulatory or legal scrutiny. Clients should not be subjected to physically aggressive techniques or dismissive responses when expressing discomfort.
We got 90 minutes massages while visiting the area. We booked in advance and they were super accommodating. It’s so quiet and peaceful in the couples room and perfectly clean. We both had amazing massages that got rid of the knots from flying. I definitely recommend the hot stones! We will come back again!
