True REST Float Spa

OMG I’m not even done yet and I’m already giving 5-stars!!! Jay is wonderful and my float left me feeling like I was on cloud 9!! I haven’t felt like this in years. I’ve had back, neck and hip pain for years and it gone! And the place smells and looks clean and amazing 🤩

I absolutely love True Rest float spa!! I have been coming here since they first opened and have brought several friends/family to experience this amazing facility. First, is absolutely spotless...every room, every pod, everywhere. Not only is it clean, the management has thought about everything you may need during your visit. Also, I have a disability so I need some slight changes to how the room is normally set up and after my first visit, I've NEVER had to ask again. They have the room set up for me prior to my arrival, every time. That is so far above what I normally call great customer service. I cannot recommend this place enough. Try it and you'll keep coming back. Come back a few times and you'll become a member because the membership is a fantastic deal!

What an amazing experience! While it may not be for everyone, at least one try is well worth it. I don’t reside locally, but definitely hope to visit again sometime soon. The before space, the treatment and the relaxation area afterwards are all great experiences. Jay was a wonderful host. He explained how to use all of the equipment and extras as well as the process. The facility and equipment were exceptionally inviting and clean. The tea and ambiance were calming and relaxing.

I’m extremely pleased with my sessions at this spa. I travel 2.5 hours to float and it’s nice the time isn’t wasted. I notice a change in my body and the mental/physical healing benefits are what I need as a HSP for CPTSD. I love the cleanliness of all the spaces from the pod rooms to the bathroom. The owner is very knowledgeable in benefits of modality through his own experience and I appreciate someone who shares from knowing firsthand what it’s like to float. I look forward to each of my sessions!

What a great experience! It's so relaxing to be completely weightless! This is a bucket list item that everyone should experience at least once in their lifetime! The staff was extra attentive and explained everything. I've never been more attended to!

My wife and I were out in San Antonio visiting family and decided to give floating a try. Luckily, True Rest Float Spa was in the neighborhood and had excellent reviews. Parking: The plaza itself gave me the impression that there was still more to come as there was more than enough parking. We went first thing in the morning so there was barely anyone parked in the parking lot. Even on a busy day, there is more than enough spots to handle any and all customers (even those not there for True Rest). Service: We were greeted by the owner Jay. The vibe he gave off was professional and relaxed. You can tell that he was very much into the well being of his clients that came in. We noticed he made an effort to know the people coming in. It didn’t matter if they were repeat customers or people just asking for information. You got the sense that he was genuine. Experience: Nice aromas, calming music, and everything you would come to expect when you go into any spa. It being our first time, we listened intently on the instructions provided to us. Your options range from relaxing lighting and therapeutic music to complete sensory deprivation. You can even do 50/50 if you so choose. After your time is up floating showers are provided, and you get to unwind with the oxygen bar with interesting reading material. Conclusion: It was an interesting experience for my wife and myself, and we both felt there was a bit of a learning curve to keep perfectly still within the pod. This didn’t affect our very positive experience and would definitely try floating again. The bar has been set with True Rest Float Spa, and now that we’re back home in Atlanta we’ll see if other floating locations can measure up to this hidden gem in San Antonio.

We visited True REST Float Spa a couple of days ago. It was an amazing experience. The float was incredibly relaxing, and I had the best nights sleep that night. The float room is a private suite, you have the float pod and shower all to yourself. Jay gave us our tour, he was so kind and informative. You can choose how you want your float to go. The pods can be left opened or closed, lights on or off, with music or silence. I opted for complete sensory deprivation, lights off, no sound, and pod closed. It took a while to relax, I didn’t realize how stressed I was. Once I was able to relax I was dozing in and out of sleep, it was very relaxing. We rested in the waiting area, sipping on tea, and enjoying the oxygen bar. The spa membership is reasonable and they don’t lock you into a contract. We will definitely go back.
