Massage Envy

Showed up on time. After waiting 20 minutes, was told that the therapist "never picked up her phone," whatever that means. Eventually came to understand that there would be no massage. Maybe some other time. Receptionist seemed to think it was amusing.

Really nice location, I have been going here for over 1 year now, nice staff. Most importantly, I found Dora, the best professional masseur who knows TCM meridians very well and is always able to ease my muscle pain～Highly recommended ～

When you enter the bathroom here, it's pitch dark and when I felt for the light switch, I found some cables and hole in the wall and then the light flickered on. I reported to the front desk that this is a safety hazard but she talked to me as if I was crazy and said the light comes on automatically when you go in. I said that the light didn't come on and then she said that we need to give it a minute. I tried to explain that people would generally feel for the light switch in a dark room and they'd encounter these exposed electrical wires and there's a chance of getting an electric shock or being electrocuted. And she said that "the construction work is literally just going on". And I said that maybe the facility can post some kind of warning, she kept repeating "OK!" in a manner that felt condescending. So disappointed with the management here. It's unbelievable that they think that this is an acceptable and safe environment. The fact that the remodeling is going on, shouldn't put customers at a health/life risk. Attaching pictures of the exposed electrical wires and remodeling area which you need to pass to get to the bathroom. Wouldn't recommend this facility.

I had a 90 mission session with Amy and it was very good massage. She asked me the specific areas I wanted to work on and she devoted almost the entire session working on them. It was exactly what I requested and my shoulders and back felt much better when. She finished. She’s a great therapist that listened to my needs and delivered.

Dana is very professional and makes sure I am comfortable throughout the entire session. She really emphasized on my focus areas and respected the pressure I requested. Kathy was another favorite of mine at this location because of her style. Very relaxing, easy to communicate with and I absolutely loved her scalp massages ! Through out my Massages I was helped at the front desk mainly by Tony and Alma. They were always welcoming and quick to help check me in and out of my sessions. Tony would always contact me if there were any changes to my appointments and was always very pleasant to speak with.

I’ve been a member of ME for a little over 10 years! The Redwood City location is excellent! I typically get a massage every week. If I could to everyday, I would. Front Staff are always friendly and helpful. I enjoy chatting with them too. Massage Therapists are exceptional and well trained. Amber and Polly are my regulars, but I will go to any of their therapists if either one of them are booked. Ashley is a highly skilled esthetician. Knowledge and thourough. I enjoy working with her because she is super nice! The results from a facial with her are really amazing! Highly recommend this location!
