This Water Journey was everything I needed today. I was nervous because I’ve never done something like this before but the staff was extremely friendly and welcoming. You can follow the predetermined water journey or make your own. It was very clean and quiet and the most relaxing experience. I would 100% come back!
I was highly impressed with the Water journey at The Bohdi spa , I've been to several in nyc and sometimes it can get overwhelming with the amount of people but this experience was a bit different since they only allow a certain amount of ppl into the 2hr slot so never to feel overcrowded or noisy. You will enjoy two different temperatures of mineral jacuzzi, a cold plunge, a infrared sauna , a regular heated sauna and a eucalyptus steam room . Plus you have a lounge area to relax and take breaks and plenty of water to hydrate. The most impressive thing was the staff at this particular spot , at some point in the locker room I was taking off my pandora bracelet and carefully placed in my bag but it must've clinged to my sweater, when I got back to my place I realized the charms were in my purse but not the bracelet, I called and the girl I spoke to said she would talk to the staff . Well lucky me that night they found my bracelet!! So a special Thanks to the staff at Providence Bohdi spa for assisting and for such a great experience 😀 🙌
I spent my birthday at the Bodhi spa in Providence and from the very beginning of the day to checkout was nothing short of perfect and accommodating. I had a deep tissue massage by Brandi. She was truly a highlight of the day. She was incredibly thorough and worked out a knot from underneath my shoulder blade I swear has been there for a decade. I stopped counting how many knots she cured, from places I don’t know I had knots, after 20. Truly was the best massage I’ve ever had. After that I did the water journey which was such a cool and relaxing experience. There are two warm pools, a cold plunge, two types of saunas, and a steam room for you to venture through. The journey is for two and a half hours which is quite generous and if you follow the guided tour, you can cycle through it at least three times. The showers and locker room are clean and the products smell amazing. Throughout the spa there is dim ambient lighting my with relaxing music. I left feeling like I was walking on air. I loved my experience and I will very likely be back soon.
First time doing this kind of thing and did not regret going with this place. After plans fell through, my girlfriend and I found this place online. We were quickly interested in the couples private suite option, but had trouble booking online. Kiki was quick to return a phone call and get us booked on the same day. One critique is the booking process online doesn’t seem to be accurate when it comes to booking for more than one person. Options for times available, waitlist, or unavailable did not show on the same day or even weeks out. Thus, we resorted to calling the front desk and were able to get a slot much easier. All in all, we had a great first experience and appreciate all the staff we encountered for making a great visit. Kiki was helpful in getting us a time slot even on short notice and Alexa helped check us out efficiently. I look forward to future visits and learning to maximize all that the Bodhi Spa has to offer.
I can say it was the best I've been to so far. Costumer service was amazing the 2 girls that night were very nice. I was asking them about the process because it was my first time and they told me every single detail. The whole experience was great but that's 3 things That I wasnt so happy off. To many people, some speaking loud and It would be nice for the front desk girl to have a tip jar . I forgot to mentioned I had an appointment 3 days before and I tried to rescheduled but for some reason it got canceled charging me the $25 fee. Ill be going back as well as I will continue to refer others.
Relaxing massage had ZERO effect after stressing and very poor customer service. I came in yesterday as my friend scheduled a massage session for me as a Christmas gift. After the session, I was ready to head out thinking it was already paid as it was a gift, and my friend also thought it was paid but it turned out it wasn’t and it’s not their fault but it should have been explained. The front desk representative (the one wearing glasses) NEVER mentioned or clarified that to me. In addition, there was a language barrier that I added when I first came in and filled out the form, and I guess they never took that into account, to make sure I understood what was happening. The card on file (my friend’s card) didn’t go through, so I had to pay out of pocket, and nothing was explained. She had a very poor attitude and I understand the whole interaction may have been quite awkward (because of the language barrier), but she didn’t lead or control the interaction (very unprofessional) and I’m not getting a $5 sandwich from McDonald’s, I’m getting a $150 service so I believe I deserve at least a small effort from the receptionist, which did not happen. At the end, I paid and left not knowing exactly what happened. As for the massage, Samantha was very nice and the massage was ok, but as mentioned it didn’t last very long.
I received the incredible gift of a "Crown To Sole" massage with Kylie at the Providence location … The atmosphere exudes such peace that I quickly was able to let go of any anxiety and embrace the calming energy of "Bodhi." I needed to pause daily life and prioritize self care. My experience with Kylie was transcendent!! Her touch was firm & intentional as she targeted all of my sources of pain! Having a massage and facial simultaneously was quite the experience. My skin is glowing and it looks lifted and refreshed. This is absolutely the place to reconnect with your Soul. ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ I feel Enlightened! 💗 🙏🏻
