American Family Hot Tub

This place is pretty cool. If you love relaxing in a hot tub, but don't have access to one, now you do. From the outside it looks like a little house, but looks are deceiving at this place. You go into the lobby and it looks a little run down, but clean and cute. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They provide towels, they are on the small side, so personally I would bring one with, but to each its own. Then you go through another door to the back outside area and it is a little oasis. There is a place to sit with a fountain with foliage which was cute. Then there are all these bungalow type rooms. You find your number and enter your private bungalow for some relaxation. Some of the bungalow's are covered, others offer a sky view. There is a little bench in a changing area, a plug for your phone or a speaker, a shower, a mirror, an ash tray for smokers, and a hot tub. You can have up to three people per bungalow. It is completely private. The only time the staff comes to the door is when you have minutes left of the hour you pay for. It is not expensive either, $20 bucks for one hour. I am so glad I found this place and will definitely be going back.

I have been going to American Family Hot Tubs for year with my partner. The staff is always friendly and when they can they ask you if you want a particular temp in your tub or if you want a covered tub or one open to the sky. It makes it feel like I am both in a private place but also in a natural setting. Best of both worlds. I am not sure how the prices compare elsewhere but I try to get to it at least once a month! P.S. I love their rubber ducky collection and how it changes to fit the theme of the month 🙂

I’ve been utilizing these tubs for many years, even before, when he was on Monument Blvd. Family owned and operated, always clean, nice staff, clean tubs and really delightful open air experience! Thirty five years I’ve been going there. That says something. I love to have a hot tub when it’s raining, too. Such a unique experience!

I recently visited and was given the option of temperature of 102 pr 103°. It was rather cool night,so I opted for the hotter. Turns out,I still had to enter in increments, which was okay with Me,since I had brought kitchen 60 minute timer with me; which also gave Me a little extra leeway to exiting the tub ,PRIOR to the 19 minute heads up given before your hour ends. 1/10/25 ps Just a reminder that hat rate has increased by two dollars, making it $25.00 per person,per hour. 1/10/25 I love this place. They have been my go to for my water soak therapy for over 25 years now. This is definitely a place you should be able to enjoy;especially if your on a limited time budget AWAY from your kids, and just need that no barge in, or constant of the bathroom door conversations between you and whomever is on the other side. I miss the house cat that was an iconic sign for me that I am here to relax! Table for one, lol PS, I stopped in on a Friday at 9pm and they were booked up for the night. Not discouraged, went back on Sat morning before noon and all was good. I like the 10 minute left heads up too! Update: my recent visit was peaceful and quiet. I had an open aired space which allowed me to enjoy a little nature too.

We've been here 3 times and so far have always been able to get a tub within 15 minutes, so this is a great spot for a spontaneous soak. I wish the tubs were a little hotter, but it seems tuba are running a little cooler everywhere these days. The staff is always friendly and helpful. They provide 2 small towels per person. Tub rooms and bathrooms are clean. The only thing that bugged me was the cigarette smell in the last room we were in... Not what I want to be smelling when I'm trying to relax after a long day. There are ash trays in the rooms, which I thought was odd the first time we came here. Now I see why. I guess people would probably put their butts out on the ground otherwise. It's a shame it's allowed here, but still worth a gamble if you're really in need of a soak.

I really love this spot. Very soothing and helps to relieve all stress that you may be carrying. It is $25 pp for 1 hr to use the hot tub. Bring water. It has covered and uncovered hot tubs. I love covered only when it is super hot outside I've used the sauna here once before and that was nice and toasty. If you're looking for somewhere that takes care of the overhead of having a hot tub.. this is it! Oh.. they do not bother you into you have any 5 or so mins left just to inform you that your time is almost over.

Been a few times renting hot tub. Made the one hour drive one way to rent hit tub and by mistake my girl and I left our wallets behind and figured because we've been here a few time in the past I could get by this time by shower a photo of my ID frnont/back Not expired and was told no. Now rules but some rules are made to be broken more like showing good repeat customer service and customer hospitality and loyalty.. OK I didn't have physical ID card but I'm a repeating customer that commutes 2 huors round trip rents tub for 2+ hours have a photo of current ID front/back. And was told NO! They just lost two good repeat customers and ilwith that hospitality I hope you loose more. So bummed out really enjoyed coming here. Q
